He did Drake and the 99 Dragons and Charlie's Angels on PS2
The most recent game he's played I think is Sonic 06, may be wrong. Unless you wanna count James himself, it'd be the Telltale Back to the Future game.

I think it's hilarious that on a channel with literally millions of subscribers, Mike's daily videos get barely 10k of views, even after a week's time. That is sad.

Honestly, I mostly like the AVGN videos, but only for the reviews and less about the '"""""character""""", anger, and skits, and more about learning something about (bad) gaming in a fun way.
"Angry" personas generally get really old and honestly, I kinda feel that way now. I really haven't enjoyed any AVGN video this entire year. The recent ones have been a chore for me.

I think the last one I truly enjoyed was the Sonic 06 part 2 review.

My least favorite episode was probably the one where he had Pat the NES Punk on. I don't know much about Pat, but I can tell I don't like the guy. Plus that whole episode was really phoned in.

Other than that, I like most of the stuff he puts out.

If nothing else, he makes for good background noise.

I primarily watch AVGN for informative content, like reviews of obscure game consoles and game console addons. Honestly, I can't really see the big difference between his older videos and newer videos, or which ones are better and which ones are worse.

Then again, I only discovered his videos last year (how very :late::late::late: of me).

Mike is annoying to listen to, isn't funny, frequently spouts bullshit (as in, just rambles about stuff he doesn't know jack shit about, sometimes excusing himself with a "or whatever" or "or some shit like that" or some such hand-wave), and as far as I can tell mostly exists as a leach on James' success. I find him annoying enough when he's doing something with James, who I like. Why would I want to listen to him on on his own?

I do believe that James/AVGN is the reason why I even made a YouTube account 12 years ago. He was the very first channel I ever subscribed to, and I'm still subscribed after all of this time.

He doesn't make me laugh all of the time (mostly because I've matured over the past 12 years and realize that AVGN's largest demographic are teenagers), but I do enjoy watching James' chill personality. He comes across as a cool dude who just enjoys what he's doing. Can't hate on that at all.

Remember the controversy with James when he posted that video about not seeing or reviewing the 2016 Ghostbusters because he thought it looked bad? So many people "REEEEE'd" about it, but James reacted to it like a fucking champ: No apologies, and not even a response to address the media controversy. He completely ignored it (publicly, at least). Badass, and very unlike pretty much every other internet personality out there.

Love or hate his content, I'd hardly call James a lolcow ... Which is amazing considering his ties to Doug Walker.

I find rental reviews is a fine filler between episodes of best of the worst, and them getting Macauley Culkin for multiple videos was a pleasant surprise.
Monster Madness is my favorite though. James seems to be the exact opposite of his AVGN persona when it comes to movies (especially old horror movies) and that's a nice departure from most movie reviewers who just want to ape Plinkett.

I love James Rolfe as a creator. Unlike the morons over at Channel Awesome, he has always manged to stay out of drama and never have been a massive prick towards his fans. He is humble and seems like a great guy. It says something that even after more then a decade, he is still great.

It's great that he's still a very down-to-Earth and humble guy after so many years of internet fame. Not everything he puts out is top-notch (I mostly watch his AVGN episodes and solo reviews), but he genuinely seems to enjoy doing what he's doing.

One series I remember liking in particular is the Extreme Nerdy Horror trivia mini-series he did a few years ago:

He went on a tirade about how gamers are entitled manbabies because they didn't like the Diablo mobile game that was just a reskin of a preexisting mobule game. While sitting in a room that'd put the Nerd Crew to shame, mind you.
