I'm not that much for long live streams but i do hope Mike will give Battle of Olympus a second chance (They bashed it in the J&MM but that's because... well, they sucked) since it's one of my faves.

I'm going have to kindly disagree with you fren, I tried to play through it recently and it is impossibly hard with terrible controls. Even loaded up with cheat codes and save states, I threw in the towel about 90% through because it was more of a chore than it was fun. I agree though that it could have been a great game.

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties was a shitty game even when it was first released, but in my opinion, it's one of those games where you can get some enjoyment out of the absurdity of it all. Unlike something like, say, Action 52 which was borderline unplayable and completely frustrating to play even when it was first released, Plumbers is the entertaining kind of bad. To me, it's the video game equivalent of The Room, and James' video on it is my personal favorite AVGN episode.

Yes, it's a shitty game made for a console nobody bought, and it's plagued with very obvious problems (poor art and voice acting, bizarre dialogue and gags, etc.) but I personally see it as one of the first examples of a shitpost/joke game that somehow got published, made in an era where companies would license almost anything for their consoles. I'm honestly interested in seeing the interviews that are supposed to come with this re-release; this game's development has been shrouded in mystery, and ever since I first saw the AVGN episode about it, I'm curious to know more about how/why this game was even made.

Fun fact: Jeanne Basone (the woman who played Jane in this game) turned up on GameFAQs at one point and did a Q&A. I'll have to see if I can find it again but according to her, she only did this game as a favor for a friend and never expected it to actually reach shelves.
EDIT: I found the GameFAQs thread. (archive). Seems that more questions were planned but that's the only one they got a confirmed answer to.

I was introduced to Superman 64 way before AVGN. Back in 2006-08, there were a lot of angry reviewers that try to emulate the same exact style as him, and people like DarknesstheCurse actually covered the game before Bimmy did. And unfortunately, I cannot find that review.
