I tried giving Side Scrollers an honest go and I couldn't stand it after a while. I'm sick of wokeness and DEI shit just as much as anyone else in gaming and I believe there should be vocal pushback against it. I just find everyone involved in the show to be disingenuous.
Craig is out of touch and doesn't actually know shit about vidya outside of what he grew up with and Blabs is an annoying airhead still obsessed with Harry Potter. They claim their show is for "normal men" but it's almost always just talking about the outrage of the week instead of what games they might be enjoying. Craig will state his opinion and then ask his yes men what they think to make it look like a roundtable discussion. You almost never see any real critical back and forth on things.
