Next Saturday (October 9th) Justin's favorite band, Rex Viper, will perform their first live concert. It's going to be an hour-long presentation, but they have only 4 published songs, what's going to be the rest of the setlist?

Also, it rubs me the wrong way that a bunch of dudes caught plagiarizing stuff can only play cover songs. They are incapable of creating new things, right?

I still don’t really understand why this thread is here. I think you guys are really stretching on this one.

I wouldn't exactly consider James a cow on his own, and its easy to blame all the recent failures on Screenwave (which is a very likely case with the whole plagiarism thing), but the fact he refuses to do anything about it, combined with his lack of communication with the fans and inability to address criticism, does teeter him into cow territory.

It's surprising to see him hold out from having his thread enter a lolcow board for so long, but its just something some of us will just have to accept, like it or not.

A real saving grace at this point would be for them to put out another good AVGN episode (not a bad possibility with the upcoming C64 Halloween episode, and not to mention the upcoming 200th episode as well), but even then I think the stain of recent events won't fade away for a long while.

God, its gonna be amazing. I thought that psychostick was going on stage after Rex Viper. I've went to one of their shows years ago. I wanna say that this is just a mistake, and that james or the slobs just messed up here, but after the first review I can not give them the benefit of the doubt. At this point i would not be shocked if this was a quickly rewritten script. Also, not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but look at bootsys likes on twitter. He recently has been liking the Websters dictionary definition of plagiarism and words similar to it. Even james old friends know he or the slobs plagiarized.
