To my knowledge, this is the most official confirmation that Newt was "the intern" that got fired. And apparently he freaked out on everyone.

One thing I never got about the recent Screenwave stuff is why they're so adamant on referencing Cinemassacre Truth. Like, it's only on occasion and I think there's only like, one time there's ever been a Truther reference in AVGN (where he talks about how one episode won't have any skits which is wildly out of character since AVGN's had skits since the early days and it wasn't a problem there) but I remember when Justin, the morbidly obese Gengar obsessed fat guy talked about how people called him Crusty Justy. Which is only something Truthers called him by. Like, there's this sense that underneath all the benign wit trying to act like they're not affected by what Cinemassacre Truth says about them, it does hurt them a lot that they call them the worst part of current AVGN.

It's just like every lolcow on this site, they lack any kind of self-awareness. Logically, you would look at the current state of affairs and try to figure out why these former fans have become anti-fans and try to course correct. From the few episodes of Hack the Movies that I watched Newt was always insufferable. Guy looked like the human personification of spoiled milk, couldnt help but drive the show into tangents about his shit childhood and family issues every 5 minutes and kept laughing at his own damn jokes.

Figures hes also dumb as shit as has now burned bridges with some of the few relevant connections he's got and his gf or 10+ years

You know the old saying "Can't teach an old dog new tricks?" James is that old dog. He simply does things the way he does because "that's how I learned to do it, and I'm sticking to what works best for me." The more I think about it, the more I wonder if James simply doesn't have time to do these things because he's clinically depressed and sits in a room all day staring at a blank screen, unless he's got other projects in the work he refuses to bring to public light.

He needs to hire a "professional" script writer and editor, lay out his idea have a script written. Then because horror movies are honestly super cheap to make and have a good ROI get a real production company/producer to make it.
