So I started watching the AVGN episodes from oldest to newest, and I just finished Nightmare on Elm Street where I noticed something interesting. In the credits, it says “Camera assistance by April Chmura.”

Isn’t his wife named April? I didn’t realize he’s been with her for that long. I thought they got together in like 2010 or some shit.

I was just checking around on YT and I noticed that those Red Cow Media guys are STILL making videos about James. I guess they figured out that mentioning him will make them get more than five hundred views on their videos, a thousand if they’re lucky. They also interviewed that guy that made the 5 hour video on James. They can’t not make videos on James now because it’s the only way they get any sort of decent views.

I especially love how the little guy says “ They call me the little guy and you the bearded guy. Man, people will use anything to insult you won’t they?” even though both of them have laughed numerous times when Truthers make fun of James’ physical traits.
I guess it’s ok to make fun of James but when people make fun of them, that’s a no no.

I've never seen the AVGN movie, let alone a clip of it. In my head I kept imagining as a Waynes World movie (which would of been for the best probably), but reading this thread has me fascinated to see it

I am in that small camp of people who liked Space Cop for what it was (Mike and Rich just dicking around), so I imagine can't be any worse than that.

I remember pirating the movie when it was new and not thinking much of it. I mean, it was on the level with Doug Walker's shit, I don't know what people were expecting.

Watching some clips recently turns out I had forgot most of it. I don't even remember the godzilla-esque sequence, or the fact that there's an actual alien puppet.

The person who voiced that Alien was incidentally cast in the Revenge of the Nerds Tv Show Pilot. If that was supposed to tie in the “Nerd” aspect.

That guy portrayed that version of Booger. He was portrayed a bit differently than the movie version. They kinda exaggerated the “Hippy” part of Booger for some reason

It's actually like the exact opposite of that because he didn't involve Mike Matei or anyone else in it. And I don't just mean acting wise, but writing and production wise. He goes really out of his way to make it feel different from the show.

I mean good for you? I wasn’t talking about whether or not they’re enjoyable (they’re really not). My point was that they use James for views because their content consistently gets under 1000 views when it’s not about James, (Occasionally they’ll get 1k or a little more but it’s not often) and the wormy guy got all in his feelings when people made fun of him and called him “the little guy” when he’s actively made fun of how James looks.

TL/DR version: My point was about them using James for views and being hypocrites.

I'm surprised that they are somehow still a thing, and that they have enough of a fanbase to make a movie out of their boring show, seriously, it's just American Pickers but with videogames, and American Pickers is boring as fuck to begin with.

Funnily enough they were also involved along with James on that awful Cheetahmen 2 Kickstarter video.

I thought this was pretty cute but I'm bias and have been a Troma fan since I was like 12. Lloyd always kills it in interviews. I was a little worried at first seeing the set from the ill-fated podcast being used but yeah, this was solid. I liked that James kept the Screenwave cancer behind the camera.

Edit: Lloyd has a lisp now. It's a little subtle but you can hear it. He never had a lisp before. I wonder if something medical is going with him or it's just part of being old as fuck?
