I can maybe understand if a game in which you don't even expect to have anime titties and then all of a sudden it has them (like for example, imagine if the next mainline entry of DOOM had it, or Call of Duty) thus it's fair to complain about them, but if you are complaining about anime titties in a game about anime titties then you are dumb to complain about it.

Actually I can totally see it happening in Doom, with how Eternal went into a Warhammer/Warcraft-esque design direction. Some scantily dressed demon girl wouldn't feel out of place.

Phantom Wave era? Yeah, I could see that. I think the only contribution Screen Wave has now is maybe suggesting games and capturing game footage? If James is smart, and he seems to be taking back control of his channel, he will keep them just for editing purposes.
no, the slobs still control everything. they write, edit, pick the games, make james dance like a puppet, they just arent on camera anymore

Anyone here see this yet? I haven't but wanted to know what to expect before watching the whole thing it's nearly two hours.
imagine watching 2 hours of some autistic (redundant) tranny

With the latest episode, you may be right. But it seems to be completely random if James has creative control or not on AVGN episodes because The Last Ninja and Contra Memories were a definite step in the right direction.

Not quite, the latest episode is down to most likely Mike again:

I hate to be that contrarian dickhead who wants to nitpick nu-Cinemassacre and complain about the slightest things James does, but, this new Mel Brooks tribute video is rather lackluster and seems phoned-in like it's filler. Not to mention he gets a few random things wrong which irked me, like referring to Harvey Korman as Harvey Norman. Again, I'm sensing the Slobs having some part in writing this script.

To repeat my question, is there a lolcow thread of Pat the NES Punk? If so, is it still up?
I don't think there's enough for Pat to be a lolcow. His original game collection and flea market videos were fine for what they were until he started doing podcasts with Ian, an obnoxious loser snowflake nobody wants to hear. Pat's just one of many that blew up on Youtube and probably never deserved it.

It's funny how much James has needed Mike to make good filler content.

Here's my hypothesis: James has made more money (despite declining views) in the last 2 years because of the huge amount of garbage Screenwave content, mediocre and terrible AVGN's with one or two good ones sprinkled among the fecal pile, and every single one of these videos (including the terrible podcast) was sponsored. So, I think he pocketed this huge surplus of income and decided to cut his loss with Screenwave because of the declining views and horrible feedback where he's at a point where he has x amount of cash in the bank. He is way in the black. Home is paid off. College is set aside for the kids. Retirement is setup. And he still has this consistent passive income from the AVGN episodes. So now, he doesn't feel the need to just keep pumping out content but he still has to put something every 2-3 weeks just to cover his overhead.

That's what I think and it would explain why AVGN episodes have returned to an infrequent schedule.
