You kind of have to give disclaimers and 'trigger warnings' like that on youtube, otherwise they'll take the video down. Remember when no one was allowed to make videos about covid because they could cause 'misinformation?' We all know what team youtube is on.

Funny because I went through a 3 Stooges phase for a few years and I must have seen just about every single short. Every Curly and Shemp (the most underrated Stooge) short and even a few of the Joe Besser ones which are the worst. There's zero racial stereotypes in any of the shorts. Not unless a hidden chestnut of racism lies within the Joe Besser ones. The only thing I could think of is that some of the shorts had a black maid or black butler and that was it. There was one black actor who mostly played a butler that the Stooges liked and used to feature in multiple shorts.
The performances of the black actors were almost entirely reactive to what the Stooges were doing and the black butler would bug his eyes out on occasion. There's nothing remotely racist in any of the shorts.

In my opinion, this is one of the worst showings from James during Rental Reviews. His enthusiasm and love for the Three Stooges shows however this video is littered with many 'Yeah.', 'Mmm, yeah.' and 'Mmmh.' Rental Reviews really needed Mike or the bald guy that was James' childhood friend. He wasn't all too bad. Kieran was meh, he isn't bad but needs someone with energy. Tony has moments but sometimes he can just be so spregy about movies, so I find it hard to like him. Justin and Ryan are just anti-content.

If I want to see someone who cares about the 3 Stooges actually talk about the 3 Stooges, or, you know, old movies and comedians, I'll watch "Hats Off Entertainment" instead of some autist who continued to wet himself well into grade school
A lot of his videos with his friends is just Bimmy going "Hmm. Yeah. Mmm hmm. Mmm, yeah." Jimbo can barely comprehend a sentence with his friends when discussing his personal childhood. It feels more like a drinking game.

He doesn't seem to be much of a conversationalist, he can articulate his thoughts pretty well written down though. He also could carry a conversation when playing games with Mike and guests on James & Mike Monday for some reason.
That's why James shouldn't be part of Rental Reviews and let the Screenwave guys do the shit on their own rather having to foam him in. Yea, even in James & Mike, he seems more conversational than mostly anywhere else.

I believe the reason behind the quality of J&MM was that it was Mike who edited it, the slobs are uncharismatic and fully reliable on James and his "star power" so they cling on to every Mmhm. While Mike who was friends with him before the Nerd knows what to cut. Hence why the last ninja episode was pretty good allthough it came out last year.

I could never take James seriously after the BTS video and learning that not only does he not write his own reviews, he lets plagiarists do it. The autobiography is pure narcissism (dude started writing it when he was 20 and he already counted his shitty home videos as "films"). At this point I only watch AVGN to know what the truthers are talking about.
Only Mike is good at contributing and writing original content for James.
