He makes a big deal about avoiding repetition and clunkiness when writing an AVGN episode and I'm wondering something: where was this discipline when writing his autobiography? This just further illustrates the presence of a ghost writer for AVGN.
His schtick during the early days is what made the character. A good formula slightly changed to avoid becoming stale, but repetitive as fuck. It was mixed up by the games Mike he was playing. I really wish he’d stop comparing AVGN to his shitty amateur films.

apparently the second channel is still active

Who in their right minds would watch the whole spectacle? It was fun to see James self masturbate in four generations, but the whole fucking movies? Not even superweed would save it.

My question is simple. Will the script be noticeably different due to Screenwave having an exodus of sorts, or is it same hat?
I'll throw James a bone and feed into him having been writing these latest nerd eps.

And they are about as bad/on par as SW written eps.

So this shit ain't adding up...or James has ultimately lost any desire to write good stuff

I found this:

How in the fuck did this guy predict that the next AVGN is Earthworm Jim? Could these be made by an insider because this isn't the first time this happened. People made an A.I. review of Doom days ahead of the AVGN episode. It also made me realize there was a James and Mike episode which could mean James had an old script with Mike input in a sock drawer somewhere.

"His head is stronger than bullets!" Watch that be a line in the official AVGN episode.

But I would love to see that confrontation where Mike is fiercely holding a copy of Ghosts 'N Goblins and is right in James' face going: "No, James. I beat the game. I played the game. I beat it twice. I told you about the daggers being the best weapon. I gave you the footage of MY gameplay of ME completing it.
That's one of the harder games to beat. That's why I give Joel from Vinesauce credit. He can be pretty dumb at games sometimes, but he did beat that game on stream. It took a long time, over the course of 2 streams, but he sat there and fought over the game, while being entertaining as fuck.

Unfortunately for James, unless he prepares his lines, he's really not that good of a live streamer. He just doesn't have the charisma or that ability to be funny on the fly, and I'll give him credit that he freely admits this on his very first BTS video where we has playing that Barbie game.

It's just really unfortunate for him though, because with his kind of crap gaming ability, he could still be entertaining enough to be a streamer, but he just lacks the ability to be funny and charismatic in a live setting.

Inb4 he does the shit he did in the three stooges video where he bitches about Doug TenNapel not liking trannies

was going through some of the eps and Jimmy boy is trying to tell us with a straight face he "wrote" these?

outside the nerd i recall he's said he's not really into RPG's and I remember specically before he's said he's never really played DW/DQ.
He claims he wrote every episode for 2022 while Korine claims it was him, Mike and James that played the games and wrote the scripts.

Edit: at the an hour and 52 minute mark James announces another Snix movie...

If this is the case, then he's probably gonna touch The Neverhood next and during the review, it'll be a 2 minute out-of-character bitchfest about Doug TenNapel.

They honestly do sound like something he wrote because they’re so bland, but he likely studied some other autist’s guide he found and mangled it up enough to not get dinged for plagiarism again.

At this point, he really is doing the minimum and expecting the maximum.

If you want to be entertained in a masochistic sort of way, watch the the making of an AVGN episode followed by the new script writing one

I forgot to mention that in the Scripts video James' goes off on a brief tanget about Kid Icarus and how much he loves Greek Mythology. If only he recognized how obtrusive and unfunny the Greek Mythology bits were but I'm guessing no one at Screen Wave is reigning him in... Assuming he actually wrote those bits because it could have been Mike or Korn.

I remember that this episode was the one where I realized that James isn't writing these anymore. The previous ones were pretty bad, but this one in particular seemed off. James is too much of a boomer to write about Kingdom Hearts lore.

How is that Archive compared to libgen or zlibrary?
It's OK. My understanding is it started as a backup of zlib from right before the feds took that site down. The interface isn't nearly as good and search is wierd, but it works OK. For a while it didn't have links to newly released stuff but it looks more up to date now

I'm going to break from tradition for a moment while I share this from the Reddit:

Anyone who looks up to a Youtuber or thinks of them as a mentor or personal friend is a giant deluded faggot.
