RIP Ozzy's stash to whoever unearts it like the Ark of the Covenant.
It is pretty cool he planned his final show just two weeks before dying. Can't think of any other musicians who have done thatt.
Don't know if it counts but Freddie Mercury did his last album knowing he's gonna die soon of GRIDS. He had trouble hitting the notes on one track, got told it's okay and they'll just drop it but he went "don't worry darling" and in the next attempt did the vocal perfectly before fainting. From memory so I certainly hallucinated the details.

If this was already posted, just lmk and I'll delete it. Kind of interesting comment from Mike.

Does anyone have the members only AVGN commentary videos on Mike's channel? Seems like he's been going through some of the classic episodes and I want to see what he has to say.

I think that's correct, from what I remember as well. Freddie was a true performer and massively inspirational. One of the few people that I could unironically call GOAT.

It was for "The Show Must Go On" which Mercury rehearsed in falsetto due to the high register of the song, May assumed that the song would get scrapped or rewritten, but Mercury came to the recording session with a bottle of vodka and sung it perfectly, the quote beforehand was "I'll fucking do it, darling."
