Pchal hosted a comp event for people banned from 2023 worlds for the updated rules on cheating/using pkhex to generate pokemon.

Despite telling people before the event about the rules, people still did it anyway and are now shocked and mad about being banned.

Training Mons for competitive in 2023 is a fucking joke, you can flat out buy IVs and battle items in the delibird shops and EV items are given out like Halloween candy.

I know gf/the pkmn company secretly loves big content creators promoting their stuff but don't be a rebel.

Well at his size, if he keeps using the pronouns like a good boy, nobody is going to cancel him, even tho he's a liar and a cheater.

TPP was really remarkable. You could set something like it up in about 10 minutes, but nobody had really thought to.

-Basically just showed up, said his lines, then fucked off to play league of legends
-Low effort
-Low quality

So what's he doing to revitalize the channel? He's nuzlocking some romhacks I've never heard of now that other people have figured them out and he's rebranding from "pokemon challenges" to just "pchal". Channel is saved!

Also he somehow is managing to look even creepier good god

That actually seemed like legitimate self criticism and a plan for course correction. Good on him.

He's still a weird, creepy, douchebag and that hair is not doing him any favors. But since there are people who enjoy his content, I hope his course correct is successful.

He should ger a haircut, touch some grass and stop being a faggot and do a proper Nuzlocke of Pokemon Clover.

But I know all of those are pipe dreams. His content was solid enough to have on the background while doing other stuff while waiting for a Flygon video (that doesn't have a tranny guest star...) and I do appreciate that he isn't a screeching sugar high sped in his narration.

I guess I'll see if what he lets out is entertaining enough, but he still should just get a haircut, touch grass and get a real job.

No, being a "professional nuzlocker" is using arbitrary rules and restrictions put upon a Pokemon game to generate story beats to engage a viewer. Like sports. The story is always the same, but the details are different enough and close enough to the hero's journey to endlessly engage an audience.

It's still derivative slop, the only "original" nuzlocke stories were told in comics years ago. But I still end up watching FlygonHG videos when they pop up in my feed because I want to see how an army of disposable Ditto's might beat the game. (They didn't, he failed the challenge.)

Well that was 8 pages of faggotry that made me feel like an old man. Like I just don't get why you would watch a stream of this shit. The "can you do it" videos are just way more interesting, and you get to cut out all the stupid grindy shit. And some people manage to even make those interesting. Not the pokemon ones usually, but sometimes. I just couldn't imagine sticking with some asshole for 40 hours to find out if they can beat pokemon with stupid rules. You get an hour. Two if I am painting.
