Jan Krüger / Pokémon Challenges / pchaltv - Supreme Gamer, "the best Nuzlocker in the world", self-diagnosed bipolar brony, defender of e-thots, arrogant wannabe mastermind

WolfeyVGC exposed himself to be kind of a faggot in that video. Calling the original Nuzlocke comic's humor "problematic" and shit
It's been almost a decade since I first read the comic, but I can't remember any jokes in that comic which would be considered offensive to even today's woke faggots
This is probably what he's talking about. I know, I almost cried at the sight of those hurtful words too.

BuT hE bEaT FiRe ReD wItH oNlY a tOp pErcEnTaGe RaTtAta can you see who wrote the article? 20 bucks it was himself.
It think some of his fans are behind it. Yes, Jan is a narcissist, but the thing about followers of e-celebs like him is their desperate need for sensei to become "recognized" as a real public figure, so they can get the dopamine spike from being "I WAS THERE BEFORE HE WAS FAMOUS".

Someone should play internet detective with the edit history page (live page | archive) and see who might be behind it. I'd do it myself, but I'm not that good at digging.

Verlisify is as much or more of a sperg than any other poketuber. I didn't know he was even still making videos until people started getting asshurt about the pchal video.

It's dumb to say that Jan's scamming his audience by hacking rare candies because it's not like he hides it. On the other hand though, I don't get why you would base your whole identity around being good at a particular kind of challenge run while also boasting about making it actively easier on yourself. I get that spending a whole stream grinding wild battles would be boring, but if you're gonna impose artificial difficulty on a baby game then at least commit to the bit.

If i think about it, it's rather impossible he'd do it himself. He's the kind of guy who says:"C'mon bro, source Wikipedia? Really? You look like you're hit by a pokemons Simple Beam.", while arrogantly pushing his glasses up.
Narcissists are reality benders, bet he's secretly playing Johto games and jerks off to Miltank, but the people editing the article are wiki gold members.

Grinding sessions with chill music are good if you wanna get in touch with your community, like in a chatting/Q+A stream.
The bestest Nuzlocker in the world would never hang back with the brutes.

I prefer grinding in a nuzlocke than using cheats or such to get multiple rare candies. This seems to be a hot topic at times in Nuzlockes, whether or not it should be considered cheating. I highly doubt Jan is the only Poketuber who uses it as I'm sure Alpharad does as well.

His audience may also just want to see the gym battles and don't desire to sit through a stream waiting on pokemon to reach a certain level. I've noticed how impatient they get when I was a frequent viewer.

Competitive single-player Pokemon is entirely about creating your own challenges. If someone wants to use rare candies to skip grinding boring easy battles and get to the challenging parts, I don't see the problem. Especially Jan the Insufferable Faggot who has done a million Nuzlockes.

I have two opinions on the rare candy "cheating".

A) using them actively makes the run harder overall since you don't get EVs from rare candies. It just saves time and makes for better content. If your playing optimally your gonna go massacre exactly 256 Zigzagoon at the start of the game and nobody wants to watch that.

B) being autistic over the legitimacy of funny pokemon run would make him a bigger lolcow

Did you notice any drama about stalking and fishy DM stuff with women going on that hasn't been mentioned yet?

I think he's too busy sucking face with Alpharad to slide into DMs.

All joking aside, apparently Reddit showed this and there's been a lot of degenerate comments regarding this obvious troll post.

Edit: Also to answer your question, this is the first time I've heard of it. What's his pickup line? Being a Nuzlocker Pro?

He claims he's the "best nuzlocker in the world". However at some point he started adding qualifiers like probably and maybe. He's not, but it's decent branding for his chosen content niche so I don't hold that against him.

Edit: I'm an idiot and read "pick up line" as "tag line".

Rated P for problematic.

Jan dont need no pickup line, he's the one who gets picked if he drops enough tumblr tier fetish innuendos.

If his audience is bored than that means he is a shitty streamer, not the game's fault.
On principal I agree, but I think you underestimate how long and how boring the average second of a nuzzloke run is. I've done quite a few without rare candies and spending 40 hours in a run with most of it spent beating up wild pokemon is high up there on the lamest things I've ever done. Plus, if you zone out and loose focus for too long you still can die and that's even worse.

I don't care how good of a streamer you are, you can't make that shit interesting to watch.

If your bread and butter is people superchatting you for hype gameplay moments, you want to go from encounter to encounter to major fight as fast as possible.
