Aghhh! An indonesian!

Also, there's this real funny video that I just watched that talks about the fall of the Anti-NHK party, it's pretty neat.

The tl;dw is that a semi-famous youtuber who was once part of the NHK (jap BBC, basically) made a single-issue party with the goal of making their lives impossible, the guy won the election and became a member of the House of Counselors, then, in an attemp to grow his movement, hilarity ensues. There's blackmail attemps, associating with japanese criminals (more specifically, GaaSyy), and other things of the sort

I wonder if they are trying to make cultural inroads by the look of this music video 🤔🤔

I'll be in Japan for 3 weeks starting in October.
I have an Elementary grasp on the language and have been studying as well.
Planning to hit Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

Hoping to finally go in the next couple years, luck permitting. I want to visit an onsen so I'll have to do research into ones that are tattoo-friendly.

Japanese court has acquitted an 88-year old man that was on death row, after a retrial for a 1966 quadruple murder incident, after it was found that the evidence against him was fabricated. / Archive

Will this lead to Japan cucking out and dropping the death penalty too, as other countries have been doing, and also loosening their 99% conviction rate tactics, which will lead to murders and child rapists being freed on technicalities, i.e. the murderer/rapists troons out? And what would the response have been, had he actually gotten executed, and then the retrial happened afterwards that found him innocent post-humorously?

Can't see it. Japan loves to hang a couple of dudes every time some big crime thing happens in the country to take the edge off, so to speak. IIRC they hanged five dudes that were on death row for quite some time right after the Akiba massacre happened.

That wouldn't have happened. Once the lid is put on things it stays on, the status quo must never be upset. Japan's 99.9% conviction rate when a crime goes to trial can only be achieved by coerced confessions in many, many cases, this old dude is by far not a unique case. Reading the article i realized i watched a short documentary about it before, it's not exactly well-known but more famous than other comparable cases of wrongful incarceration. I'm curious how high the compensation would be if he indeed tries to apply/sue for it. Which i doubt he will do. Again, lid is on, things are done, better not upset anyone. Unfathomable behaviour for most westerners.

I've read up on the new prime minister and immediately I can tell he's an American-backed puppet ruler who's sole duty is to make Japan 100% dependent on the United States with their own version of NATO in the Pacific.

"The Dark Side of Japan: The Lost Generation"

- Explained with Dom

tl;dw: High expectations and a bubble burst in 1990 (with hiring freeze for a decade) makes "lost generation", helping to result in ongoing recession and population crisis.

Hoping to finally go in the next couple years, luck permitting.
I'll be going to Tokyo in a few weeks.
Best to make sure you do not get into legal trouble there: a near 100% conviction rate -- because judges dare not go against prosecution and the state to "save face" there.

I hate to tell you this but Japan itself is an American puppet

As it has been explained many times before, the reason why the criminal conviction rate is so high in Japan (99.3%) is for the exact same reason why the federal criminal conviction rate is so high in the USA (99.8%). The state will prosecute you ONLY IF they are sure to win.

The reality on the ground is that in a looooot of cases, the state simply does not prosecute the criminal because they are not absolutely sure to win.
Here in Japan you can get assaulted by a dude, know him personally, have injuries and stuff, but if the police cannot get an outright confession signed by the guy or a 4k120fps video footage, they will not prosecute him because they are not absolutely sure to win. They will tell you to fuck off and file a civil suit if you want justice.

Which is absolutely infuriating to those that have to deal with the justice system. Even in cases of murder, rape, or other outrageous things where the culprit is obvious, known by all including the police, if they are afraid of breaking the streak that their police district has for prosecution (the prosecuting chief really want to brag to the prefecture governor about his 100 consecutive convictions), they will drop the charges if they cannot bully the criminal into confessing, and you, as the victim, will have to spend years and tons of money in lawyer and court fees to civilly sue someone.

Current Year really needs to end already.

This world would be so much better if "social media" was never invented.

I heard the real crime rate over there is higher than the reported, but still low compared to a big American city.

Does this also mean that if you take revenge they won’t go after you?

"JAPAN IS ABOUT TO DISAPPEAR FROM THE MAP! Demographics Crisis Explained"

Despite the click-bait-y title, the tl;dw is that Japan could lose economic power and not really be Japan like they are now anymore, but there could still be people around.

(Also suicide is mentioned in one part, so that blue "The Narrative™ Says" infobox may show up with soy "you're not alone" message.)

Japan is importing Indians into Hokkaido and other parts. The East has fallen, billions of Pajeets will shit in the streets.
