Agree, but I think this will just delay inevitable suicide, not prevent it entirely. They can't watch him forever. I predict the an heroing in about three to five years, sometime in the middle of college. And twansphobia will be blamed for it, not abuse and complete genital mutilation.

Jazz’s mom seems like that type of person you’d see in a horror movie. She’s far too obsessed with her kid’s genitals to not be creepy. When Jazz’s fame decreases, what will Jazz’s mom try to do to have relevancy? Will she use another one of her kids to prey on? It sickens me that she never let her son grow up normally to push an agenda. She’s so obsessed with fame that she’s willing to mutilate her own kid. She seems like a narcissist, they all have a favorite child (they enmesh themselves unhealthily with the favorite) and a most hated child in a family (whom they more outrightly neglect or abuse on some level). Jazz got status as the favorite when the mom decided to get him diagnosed at the gender therapist. On the show you can see how everything in the family revolves around Jazz and what Jeanette wants for Jazz, going as far as to get matching tattoos without even consulting dad (jazz was 16) . I have a feeling that if Jazz was a gay boy he would not be the favorite, and probably wouldn't get matching tattoos with his mom. I hope there is a tell all book, I want to know everything.
