Ari probably would be a more traditionally feminine girl, but Jeanette probably beat it out of her. Just like there's a chosen favorite child, there's the unfavorite child. She probably had to deal with always being second to Jazz (by narc-mom's scoring) whenever she did something girly. Ari tries on make-up, Jazz does it better. Ari plays with costume jewelry, Jazz is so much fancier. In a way, she also had her childhood stolen from her. Girlhood was another topic that was engulfed by troonism.True. I meant that she has more tomboyish interests based on what I've seen on the show. She seems to express an interest in geology, doesn't appear to be big on makeup or entertaining her mother's "spa days", and overall isn't about the glitzy uber-girlie life that many daughters from wealthy families are all about.
Granted, it's hard to get a solid read on what Ari is interested in. She's barely ever on the show and when she is, she either seems out of it or is offering useful, gently-uttered advice that Jazz shoots down.
Have either of the brothers came out as gay? I wouldn't be suprised if they have confused sexual interests or feel pressured if their entire lives are accessories to neovaginas and queer activism. They could also call themselves "bi" I guess (in the sense that "I guess I could kiss Ryan Reynolds during a planetary alignment and if no one ever knows").
