I like this and I think it's really charming, though there's a small aesthetic question - do you think it would benefit from a slightly higher abstraction of Ross's face? That is, removing some of the detail/age lines/wrinkles? It might make him seem a bit more amiable, unless "realistically pleasant dude" is the target.

That said, if that's not comfortable to your style or you merely disagree, totally fair.
Its probably a force of habit since i used to draw wrinkly faces and im in extreme rush to finish it.
I mostly tried to show warm expression on the face.

One issue Americans face is that trying to, as an individual outside the political system itself (representative, politician, connections, etcetera) or lacking a monetary sledgehammer (lobbying, large corporation, etcetera), trying to organically affect change that wasn't already put on the table by certain politicians beforehand seems pretty much impossible. The last time popular sentiment lead to the widespread implementation of a policy nationwide in America, it involved a lot of rioting (BLM -> Body cameras becoming mandatory/standardised across the USA). I can empathise with his sentiment but it was an incredibly difficult mission at best. Some kind of petition or initiative scheme like the EU or UK might be good for letting politicians know where some sentiment lies at least?

What sucks about the EU initiatives is that just from a glance (like the UK petitions) a lot of them are cringe and gay. There are some decent ones on paper but they're not approached with the same pragmatism that Ross did with his and some are definitely overestimating the EU's authority and capabilities. Compared to the others, SKG is a breath of fresh air.

I don't dislike it! It definitely feels the way you wanted it to, I was mostly just wondering about conventional appeal. Hell, even if you did change it, there's a chance it may disagree with the rest of your style, so certainly don't take this as gospel. It's totally fine, I was just wondering about the potential for it to be even better.
Also, better hurry up, we might cross the finish line before you finish it at this rate 😎

I'm a bit behind on the thread, so this may have been posted already. Louis' reply to Ross shows that he did in fact coach him a bit:

I haven't finished watching Louis' video either, but I think it would be a shame if people pattern-matched it to Mald's faggotry. Louis is constructive even when he's roasting.
Anyone claiming that Louis is shitting on Ross must be autistic. Clearly it's not only coming from a place of absolutely giving a shit, but it's also appropriate criticism about what was done wrong and what will need to be done going forward. The simplest descriptor "tough love". There's a reason why Louis pointed out the problems Ross is running into and directly comparing them to the issues he had, and then immediately explaining what to do about it.

Furthermore, pointing out that signatures is not the end of the battle is correct. This is going to end up being months if not years of people talking to politicians, including industry shills that will be presenting talking points that will sound logical to a lay person that will need to thoughtfully be deconstructed. While I'm sure there are differences between the EU and congress in the US, you can't show up, shout a catch phrase, leave and expect anything to be done. It won't be faggots like Mald arguing against it either, it's going to be people used to this shit that have been coached by legal teams, management, etc. from their respective industries.

Yeah, I think one of the things people most miss about any kind of political movement due to the comfortable fiction they consume is that you don't just slay a dragon and things are immediately much better. The machines are slow, trundling things, and the odds are good that the change you want will take enough time that you'll have probably forgotten about it by the time it happens.

Still, if it's not done on the possible timeline, it never is, so it's always worth doing.

he did more than what 90% of people would do
Hell, I think even 90% is lowballing it, otherwise 1 in 10 people like him would've tried it already.

That said, I think it's also interesting because at the start of all this, he just wanted to start this movement and get out of the way, but in the last week he's sort of been elevated to a folk hero in a classic good man vs evil man epic. It kinda goes to show the sheer happenstance that leads to ordinary people being thrust into extraordinary circumstances, because the whole flavor of this wouldn't exist had Mald not positioned himself as such a conventional bad guy. There are many more universes where it's just Ross and just SKG, it's odd that it went this particular way.

Out of curiosity, is there anyway the organizers of the initiative can contact the regulating body about botting concerns and have them make a determination on how many signatures are authentic, whether or not it even exists, etc? Or would that not be something the EU wants to do until time's up.

A lot of people has predicted this already.
I personally doubt he will go this way. If SKG succeeds he will rather go the route of smugly saying stuff like "Well, looks like my mere two small videos 10 MONTHS AGO didn't damage the movement after all, as much as this Ross guy claimed. Yet he still sent hate mobs my way and review bombed MY game. Easy bans, btw. I'm right, as usual. Mmmyeah.*stretch* Insane behaviour, dude."

im just going to put it out there
all the problems of western civilization can be rationalized into two types of people

Karens and Furries.

The smartest thing would be to be silent about it.
