I think this is the only way to look at it. When you actually start to look at what he says, you see it's also bullshit posturing. I think most of it is random obscure technical things or work related that no one can disprove or only a few people could.
Ever since him talking about using stenography to hide his passwords in images I realized why I couldn't stand him. This makes pretty much zero sense from a security aspect. If you are using a password manager your passwords are already encrypted, and you can't use 2FA from a steg image. If he's trying to imply that his system got infected that no one would magically be able to figure out his passwords that doesn't matter either. You would still have to decrypt everything, and enter the credentials into an application, which malware would be able to see anyways. It sounds cool to retarded normies I guess.
My pet theory is that he constantly brings up the IM A HACKER and I HACKED POWER PLANTS bullshit to scare people away from trying to mess with him because of the implication that he'll hack you or something. Nothing he has ever said has really been something that is deeply hacker territory. If he was "hacking" power plants, he was just doing physical assessments which often reults in lock picking or following people through doors type of shit. Which isn't to say that isn't a skill but it's not really hacking the power plant. Which by the way, shit like power plants are probably still running Windows 95 or similar, so its not exactly that advanced to hack these things if I had to guess.
Imagine lacking a father figure in your life, and some autistic furry SL developer is who you look to for advice.
