I genuinely worry for the future of indie games if Jason is one of the people leading the charge.

There's an entire ecosystem of "game dev" influencers who are utterly incompetent at every single skill you need for game development, pumping out bad tutorials and "progress reports" and retarded musings on design choices and never ever releasing anything. It's a noob trap; they're unwittingly acting as gatekeepers; everybody who isn't super retarded just discards them after half a video and goes back to learning to code.

Incendiary take, but while I get that it's cringe that he was pretending he thought there was a home intruder when the puzzle printed out a sheet of paper in Animal Well... at the same time... it's kind of a commendable display of showmanship. By 2016 when he left this number would have risen as more people tried the game (And Warlords of Draenor did see a subscriber bump) but I am doubtful that it increased very much as WoD was a notoriously shit expansion that suffered a massive exodus that has impacted the game to this day. So generously, lets say the amount of accounts created for WoW by 2016 was 110,000,000. He's saying that, singlehandedly, he banned about 0.4% of all players that had ever touched the game. He's so full of shit his eyes are brown.
