I am glad I am not the only one who noticed this. I think I pointed it out earlier in the thread. Even though I am shit at Monster Hunter games in general I know that you aren't supposed to hide with any of the weapons.

I'd be interested to see how Mald plays hero shooters. I get the feeling he'd be a crybaby tank complaining about not enough heals when he pushes farther than the rest of the team can safely assist at.

On a less shitposty note, this reminds me that I sometimes keep a friend who doesn't use this site up to date on any particular Mald happenings of note that get posted here, and he was so assblasted at learning through osmosis about how passively retarded Mald plays Hunting Horn that he decided to take the plunge on buying Wilds for himself and maining Hunting Horn in order to prove that, yes, it can, in fact, be used as an offensive, "weaker" hammer and that it is, in fact, best used in this manner rather than roaching like Mald's doing here.

It's tempting me to get the game and play, but my potato of a computer would be running it at 5fps. Last time I played a MH game I branched out to try out the less DPS focused weapons and was enjoying it.

It's tragic to watch him play monster hunter with a "200+ HR" in his stream title only for him to hide behind a wall so he can buff his teammates who don't even fucking need him there, or time out on solo hunts because he can't bonk a monster on the head and buff at the same time (you know, how they added TWO mechanics in order to quickly bust out notes for buffs specifically to make it easier) then he's showing his ass. I can't imagine anybody in his chat actually can play monster hunter if they're kissing his ass over his gay play style. A few of us pointed out earlier in the thread that just buffing with the horn makes you a faggot thats dead weight because you aren't hitting the monster.

Also resounding melody is sick as hell and if he's not using it despite having the best horn in the game that specifically has it and attack up L, he's a massive retard. But I am stating the obvious.

Yeah, the horn buffs aren't necessary, they're usually just a plus. The only time buffs are mandatory are if you are the hunting horn player, because they buff YOUR damage against the monster that (if you're thor) you aren't fucking hitting for some reason.

I never go too deep into the meta but how does the monster hp work in wilds multiplayer? Does it scale up as more player joins? I remember being told that 1 hunter = 100%, 2-4 hunters = 200% regardless of 2/3/4 in world. Is that also how it works in wilds?

Still, even if it's also this way, dead weight is still dead weight.
