His ferret stuff is part of his business. He'll write off all ferret related costs as business expenses, and he will declare all donations as taxable income. The IRS will be very happy about this, happier than if he actually ran a charity, because all they care about is getting their cut. They do not give a fuck if you call the payment you receive donations, subs, gifts, juicers, tithes, vbucks, ferretfuckershitcoins or whatever else.
What would be illegal is if Mald was falsely claiming that the donations were tax deductible. He did not. Nothing here is illegal.
