For that reason, I'm not sure if votes from countries without some kind of digital ID verification should count for more than 3/5th of a regular vote.

I hope the momentum is enough for 1.1 or 1.2 mil, then it surely must be enough (even with some bad signatures).
 
I don’t want to add a doomer suppository to this thread, but if I was to be honest I’d say that about 20% of the signatures are either from Americans trying to help or fake/botted accounts. It’s important that signatures keep getting pushed through even after the million

It proves that it was neither petty nor underhanded to call this ferret-killing piece of shit out. Ruining his career as a con-man is perhaps the least of what he deserves, but to do so in service of a greater cause is more than admirable.

Sometimes, kindness and empathy can be hinderances to doing good.
