Nah, I doubt it. Probably there will be a whole lot of double standards. As in people clowning on Ross, kissing Thor's ass, etc. will be more than welcome. Anything even slightly critical, or even questioning will result in that rule being invoked.

Well, tall poppy syndrome is moreso referring to ganging up on a successful person for being successful, while Mald is being ganged up on for being a liar, fraud, cunt and corporate stooge.

Nothing is written below me is also right about the negative interpretations. The term generally just refers to someone who achieves success of their own accord, but also appears arrogant over his success. Mald isn't successful of his own accord.

I've only ever seen that used when the tall poppy is sufficiently tall from takes or opinions that come from a place of good intention, but just sperg'd out in public. For example, a new team member who knows their shit but won't shut the fuck up and draws more attention from management.

No wonder he still has bootlickers, they hope they'll be promoted to mod and get a living wage.

This is not just me snarking- but I genuinely don't get how his discord has 200 000 members. I guess his target audience are furries and teens who think being a hacker and gamedev is cool, even though nobody discusses Heartbound and it doesn't have a fandom.
