Ghislaine Maxwell ordered to clean her 'very dirty and smelly' prison cell​

Prosecutors have accused Ghislaine Maxwell of allowing her prison cell to become "dirty and smelly" by not cleaning it and regularly failing to flush her toilet.

In a lengthy letter to a judge they rejected allegations from Ms Maxwell's lawyers that her conditions were "fitting for Hannibal Lecter".
They also disputed suggestions the former socialite had lost 15 pounds, and some of her hair.

A claim that she had been physically abused during a pat-down search had been investigated and was "unfounded", they added.
Audrey Strauss, a New York prosecutor, wrote: "Staff directed the defendant to clean her cell because it had become very dirty.

"Among other things, staff noted that the defendant frequently did not flush her toilet after using it, which caused the cell to smell. In addition, the defendant had not cleaned her cell in some time."

Ms Maxwell, 59, has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges and denies grooming girls for sex with Jeffrey Epstein.

A week ago, her lawyers suggested jail was having a "deleterious effect on her health" and she may not be "strong enough" to stand trial in July.

Ms Strauss said Ms Maxwell's lowest observed weight had been 133lb and she was now 137.5lbs, which was "normal" for her height of 5ft 7ins.

She added that Ms Maxwell had "received a Covid-19 vaccine and is now fully vaccinated" and was "physically healthy".

Prosecutors said Ms Maxwell was being given more time to review documents than any other inmate at the jail in Brooklyn - 13 hours a day, seven days a week.

For all that time she had access to a desktop computer, and a laptop, in a day room away from her cell, and was able to email her lawyers.

She also had access to "a television, a phone on which to place social or attorney calls, and a shower".

Her lawyers have complained about a flashlight being shone in her cell every 15 minutes at night by guards.

But prosecutors said it was required to make sure she was breathing, and was shone at the ceiling.

Ms Strauss said: "The defendant wears an eye mask when she sleeps, limiting the disturbance caused by the flashlight."

Prosecutors said they have now disclosed 2.7 million pages of evidence to Ms Maxwell's lawyers, who have the option to visit her in person.

Okay I get why she might not feel like dusting every corner or polishing every surface, but not flushing the terlet? WTF Ghislaine? Gross.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The two Bureau of Prisons workers tasked with guarding Jeffrey Epstein the night he killed himself in a New York jail have admitted they falsified records, but they will skirt any time behind bars under a deal with federal prosecutors, authorities said Friday.

The prison workers, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, were accused of sleeping and browsing the internet instead of monitoring Epstein the night he took his own life in August 2019.

They were charged with lying on prison records to make it seem as though they had made required checks on the financier before he was found in his cell. New York City’s medical examiner ruled Epstein’s death a suicide.

As part of the deal with prosecutors, they will enter into a deferred prosecution agreement with the Justice Department and will serve no time behind bars, according to a letter from federal prosecutors that was filed in court papers Friday. Noel and Thomas would instead be subjected to supervised release, would be required to complete 100 hours of community service and would be required to fully cooperate with an ongoing probe by the Justice Department’s inspector general, it says.

The two have “admitted that they ‘willfully and knowingly completed materially false count and round slips regarding required counts and rounds’” in the housing unit where Epstein was being held, the letter says.

The deal would need to be approved by a judge, which could happen as soon as next week. Attorneys for the guards did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

Sen. Ben Sasse, a Republican member of the Senate Judiciary Committee who has been a vocal critic of the Justice Department’s handling of Epstein’s case, called the deal “unacceptable” and said the public deserves to see a report detailing the prison agency’s failures.

“One hundred hours of community service is a joke — this isn’t traffic court,” Sasse said in a statement. “The leader of an international child sex trafficking ring escaped justice, his co-conspirators had their secrets go to the grave with him, and these guards are going to be picking up trash on the side of the road.”

Prosecutors alleged that Noel and Thomas sat at their desks just 15 feet from Epstein’s cell, shopped online for furniture and motorcycles, and walked around the unit’s common area instead of making required rounds every 30 minutes.

During one two-hour period, both appeared to have been asleep, according to the indictment filed against them.

Both officers who were guarding Epstein were working overtime because of staffing shortages. One of the guards, who did not primarily work as a correctional officer, was working a fifth straight day of overtime. The other guard was working mandatory overtime, meaning a second eight-hour shift of the day.

Before they were arrested, both officers had declined a plea deal with federal prosecutors.

Epstein’s death and the revelation that he was able to kill himself while behind bars at one of the most secure jails in America was a major embarrassment for the Bureau of Prisons and cast a spotlight on the agency, which has also been besieged by serious misconduct in recent years.

Staffing shortages at the agency are so severe that guards often work overtime day after day or are forced to work mandatory double shifts. Violence leads to regular lockdowns at federal prison compounds across the U.S. And a congressional report released in 2019 found that “bad behavior is ignored or covered up on a regular basis.”

The falsification of records has been a problem throughout the federal prison system. Union officials have long argued that the reduction of staff is putting both guards and inmates in danger, but they’ve faced an uphill battle getting attention.

Well, there it is. Somebody fucked with Epstein's prison and deliberately shorted the staff there, or otherwise simply chose a prison that was already overworked to house him.

not sure if people care about old Jeffery anymore but there has been some new info about his death.

time stamp is on 34:00 but the gist is,

-was attempted murder the day before they killed him
-the guards were put to sleep by gas
-(((they))) shut down all the cameras and straggled him to death to make it look like suicides
-all the items from Epstein's vault has disappeared and the case is dead in the water.

One of Bill Clinton's former special advisors who helped cement his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein has died at the age of 59, becoming the latest associate of the former President to die young.

Mark Middleton's family said that he passed away on Saturday in a statement which did not reveal the cause of death.

The father-of-two lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, and local law enforcement and the county coroner told DailyMail.com that they were not investigating the death and did not respond to it.


The Middleton family did not reply to requests for comment.

Middleton had for decades run an air conditioning business in Little Rock but in the 1990s he was a special advisor to Clinton and finance director on his Presidential campaign.

During that time Middleton admitted Epstein to the Clinton White House on seven of the at least 17 times the late pedophile visited.

Middleton also flew on Epstein's plane and appears to have acted as a conduit between the two men.

...Middleton left politics entirely and lived a life out of the spotlight. Yet, the connection remained. As soon as Maxwell stated she would reveal her client list, Middleton suddenly passed away. Coincidence? What names will Maxwell reveal, and will the media cover the story?

Epstein famously died by “suicide” before he could go to trial. However, Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking minors in December of 2021. No less than 23 women testified in court that Epstein trafficked and abused them. Four specifically testified they were abused by Maxwell as well.

But even today, the identities of Epstein’s Sex Clients remain totally unknown.

Stunningly, no media outlet in the country has petitioned the Court to unseal the identities of Epstein’s Clients.

Where are you, New York Times? Where are you, CNN? Where are you, Fox News?

It’s almost like corporate media is protecting the disgusting sexual abusers, simply because the victims alleged Epstein’s clients consisted of powerful businessmen, politicians, former presidents and prime ministers, and other world leaders.

Oh. No. Those records spontaneously combusted three seconds before this request was registered. Oh deary, deary, me.

Or more likely was burned three seconds after it was noticed what it was a record of. I'd be willing to bet everything I own and everything I will ever earn that any records of this type are either destroyed or held by the CIA/FBI as blackmail, which might come to light in 50-100 years from now.

Steven Hoffenberg, one of Jeffrey Epstein's associates and the one-time owner of The New York Post, has died at the age of 77.

Police were called to his Hoffenberg's home in Derby, Connecticut, yesterday by a concerned friend. They found Hoffenberg lying on the floor of his bedroom.

The cause of his death remains unconfirmed, but there were no visible signs of trauma to his body, a police source says.
