Lily is too dumb to realize the Mummy, as great of a movie as it is, is still a orientatalist fantasy full of white saviours. It has few redeeming qualities for the MENA people indigenous to the lands those white peoples have colonized. I don't know why I'm still surprised that Lily doesn't understand concepts that should be basic knowledge in her chosen fields.
That's not 'being a ghostwriter', that's being an 'uncredited contributor'. Ghost writing is a pretty specific thing where you make an entire written work (and specifically a written work) under somebody else's name (and specifically under somebody else's name-- this is different from being pseudonymous or anonymous, another real human being is getting the credit).
I wondered if she was trolling at first by overselling her role (given she initially talked about this 'gig' by talking about how all her stalkers would never be able to rest thinking that Lily Orchard was behind something they enjoyed) but signs point to her legitimately thinking that this counts as ghostwriting.
This is, after all, the same person who doesn't understand what 'show don't tell' and 'binge watching' mean.

This would be kind of nice if I had no idea who made it.
But I do. I think it's absolutely wonderful that Lily wrote this comic to express love for someone she cares about, but, to drag the other people in her life down taints it for me. She has taken as many liberties with her surroundings as she has with her illustrated self. She is busty and thin and perfect and her parents and ex are abusive and mean and she's such a victim. But thank god she has her wife who makes it all better.
I'm gonna end this on a positive note though, cause I'm feeling sappy. Mikay put a lot of effort into this comic, drawing is hard, and from my experience, it feels good drawing things for people you like. To that end, I hope these two make each other happy. I hope they bring the best out of each other, cause at the end of the day that's what marriage is about.
This comic has been a creative outlet for me, and my friends, because as absurd as it is, it has been one of the more engaging things Lily's made. As sure as I breathe air, I'll always have something to say about it. That's one thing that's not gonna change this year.

Happy 2023 Kiwis!
First part has a lot of improv Christmas songs of Lily's, that are some of her most cringe attempts at humor yet.
-Then she gets pissy at Kelstitch for being curious about Mikaila's migration/move since they have been colecting money for it.
Lily says she'll update fans when she feels like they need an update and they shouldn't pester her about it.
Who would have thought that people who donated money for a specific cause would want to know what's happening to that money/cause?
-I don't know why but Lily was getting really irritated by Kelstitch that stream. Didn't blow up at them but kept making talking down to them.
-She complains about hving to do stuff consistenly in Raft, where as other games would have made the gameplay easier by now.
-Mikaila has woken up from her post work nap and joined the stream. She hasn't fulla woken up yet and is groggy. She has trouble transfering her gamer recordings to an external drive as the transfer is going very, very slowly. Her idea how to fix this is to connect the external drive to another USB port. Lily explains to her why this wouldn't help and gives her a couple advice on how to record game play footage that surely would have been more usefull if she'd done that before Mikaila did all the work.
Mikailas computer being this slow was confusing at first since Lily made such a big deal about getting Mikay a new powerfull one and Lily explaines that the new ultra cool computer they've built together is actually at Lily's apartment????? And Mikaila still uses her shitty old PC for her videos.
-while talking about this there was still time to complain how little revenue she gets out of streams.
Kelstitch, rest their soul, suggested putting ad's in the streams but Lily makes it clear that it isn't YouTube that's the problem, she could put Adsin the streams, but that the streams are watched by too few people to do that. Gee, I wonder why that would be with an unpredictable streaming schedule?
Once again, It's all the audences fault.
While complaining about donation Lily faithful cashcow shows up with a nice donation. Lily says 'thanks but please use the donation link not superchat, otherwise YT will take a cut from it', goes on to explain how she once made a 'joke' about wanting a Sylvanas statue and someone actually senther the 800 dollars the statue went for, only for YT to cut 500 away from that and she wasn't able to buy it anyway.
The story prompts her of getting a few more donations.
The later half of the stream is just Lily looking at different PC components she could use to build Mikaila a new budget computer she could use in New York. She'll resuse some of her spare parts and try to organise everything so it'll fit in Mikaila's small case ...next time Mikaila comes to Halifax.
At this point I'm inclined to believe they have no actual plan nor desire to move in together.
Shhe gets praise from chat over her mad PC knowledge and expresses the idea of making a series of videos where someone would give her a budget and she'll try to find parts for that money.
