I've been amusing the idea going through clips to just make a compilation video of, "Does Lily Orchard Love Her Wife?" No commentary, just clips and editing to avoid copyright that might come up. With ones like, the "stop acting like I killed your dog" and the sleep one. I know she would yell about context, but it's hard to give context when she doesn't reup her own streams.
I'm sorry, I love geese and couldn't remember the bird picture I wanted.

Other streamers recieve that treatment constantly, to the point that's actually obviously stupid, so I don't see why Liliana shouldn't recieve it as well.

Anyway, had a few streams go on over the weekend, because she just can't help herself.
Firstly, the last stream before we took our vacation.
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Care for some stream highlights while we celebrate?
Oh look, it's the post-uploading-a-new-video stream she tries to make into a thing.
-She spends the first three minutes of the stream deciding what to play in the background while she streams, says that she needs to fiddle with something at all times because of her ADHD.
-someone makes a joke about her streaming her fiddling with her wife instead. Lily gets annoyed at that (for some reason, she usually loves lewd comments like that)
-When writing the scrip she got so madshe needed to make jokes so she wouldn't start to cry. Then she makes a shitty impression of Mark Hamill.
I still haven't watched her video, but someone getting this emotional over how villains are portrayed inchildrens media to the point they could cry, is some pretty deep manbaby teritory.
-troughout talking about the new video, she also complains about Tales od Fantasia not being localised yet.
-she's watching the Harley Quinn show and thinks Joker is the funniest he's ever been. ''Especially when he became a step dad.''
-Lily doesn't care about the Futurama reboot.
For a stream that is about talking and reflecting on the newly publiched video, there sure is little talk about the actual video. If there is any talk it is about the game, which of course must turn into shittalking FomSoftware. Yadda yadda yadda.
Then one dude in chat commits the cardinal sin of-
-asking her why she's playing the game. Lily proceeds to throw a hissy fit and quits the stream.
I lowered the volume of her getting close to the mike in the clip, still, be prepeared at the 3th second mark.
I'll go trough the other two streams later <3

A good two third of this video is about World of Warcraft. Now I'll put my hands up and say I'm not a world of warcraft fan. I have never been. But it really shouldn't matter, a good video essayist can make even the uninitiated understand why their opinions are the way they are.
For all those who play and know the lore. When Lily plays those clips to bolster her points about how W.oW's story is in the dumpster due to its writers, do those clips help her claim at all that these people are malicious and writing out of spite?
I know why she's done it this way, it's Lily, and her autism has made her cling to Sylvanas Windrunner but as a video, it really makes no sense. If a normal person can't watch Lily's video and understand what her complaint is, then I have to ask, who is this video even for? Well besides herself, I guess.

The WoW clips are the exact same points/story beats that she's been hating on for years and years. Yes, the story is bad, but outside of Alex Afrasiabi's influence it hasn't been intentional. (According to multiple sources, Afrasiabi intentionally sabotaged Sylvanas because she was a favorite character of a woman who turned him down/spurned him or something like that.) Danuser and Golden (who doesn't write the story, she writes novels based on explicit instructions given to her by the team) have earned her hatred entirely because of her warped perception that they are in league with Afrasiabi and are misogynistic nazis. Like, it bears repeating that her perceptions of Sylvanas and WoW in general are incredibly off-base and shaped by her fucked up ego.
She's also so damn off-base when she says that FFXIV is only appealing because WoW is doing poorly. No, it's been growing year-over-year since Heavensward because it has its own appeal. People aren't screaming at each other to play FFXIV because they need validation that it's good, they're advocating for it because they enjoy it so much. It's a joke in the community about how much they push it, they have the common sense to understand that it's not going to be for everyone and they aren't gonna shove it down other's throats. It's good on its own merits, not just when it's being compared to recent WoW.
She even admits that it's enjoyable and can see why other people enjoy it, but it's not for her. And that's fine! But saying the game is only recently popular because WoW is doing poorly is completely disingenuous. Yes, WoW has fallen from a monumental height into a deep, deep valley, and many consider FFXIV to be the top MMO now, but FFXIV has been crawling its way up for years.

The idea that subs vs dubs is only ever said about Japanese shows... for one thing, it's not true. As an example, some people in the Winx Club fandom believe that the best way to watch the show the whole way through is actually in Italian with English subtitles, since the show has had so many incomplete English dubs. Also, if people are obsessed with hearing Japanese words, why are there some shows that are generally agreed upon as being best experienced in English, like Konosuba and Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt?
Lily's entire argument hinges upon the idea that all languages are exactly the same and should evoke the same feelings in people who don't understand the language, which isn't true. One medium that understands this is opera, where the songs are typically performed in the original language they were written in, sometimes with subtitles on a projection so people can follow along and sometimes without. Does Lily think that opera watchers are fetishizing Italy, or Russia, or Spain? Probably not.
One last thing, an important note about Lily saying that making Hunter black would be adding "an interesting element": she apologized for this statement, but it doesn't matter because she keeps doing it. Whether it's that, calling non-binary people "inherently interesting", or saying that love between girls is the purest kind there is, she just keeps doing it. There's always another group for her to gawk at.
