I just want to clarify a couple things about this since im a dual citizen and i watched my mother go through the immigration process after being married to my dad for years.
This honestly says more about her fanbase / sycophants than it does about Lily herself. Lily has clearly portrayed this negatively, (likely to get sympathy for killing the soft babu), but instead her fans are finding ways of justifying it for the most part. I'm sure Lily has cultivated this response over time through frequently pitting herself as the victim, with her fans automatically assuming she requires justification or vindication for her actions
It goes a little further than that too, they've practically been conditioned to believe everything said about him is a lie, and I think the best instance of this is when they brought a supposed lie to his front door
If I remember correctly, Lizzy has been stated by Lily to live in Toronto, so it'd be entirely up to what Canadian law has to say on the issue.

Technically, yes. A lot of the more volatile tsundere characters in anime would be considered straight up domestic abusers if the genders were reversed. The fact that their violent and abusive behavior is treated as cute and quirky and rarely as a real and serious character flaw, is technically misogynistic, in that it treats women as less capable, if not inherently incapable, of violence and evil compared to the way a man would be.
Yeah, it could also be said that the characters bad behavior is just "playing hard to get" or whatever. Implying that despite their behavior they're secretly up for whatever bukkake the main character has in mind.
I guess the “key difference” there is that Helga is never physically violent towards Arnold? I dunno, I haven’t watched this children’s cartoon since I was a child, but I don’t remember Helga ever kicking the football head. She probably used empty verbal threats and that was it.
