Jim Can't Swim - Psychological deep dives into the criminally inept psyche

I ripped the full audio (with introduction) of the Stephanie Lazarus video before it got altered. (I like to listen to the episodes like a podcast while I do things.) I'll post it here: (Note: It starts with audio from other interrogations as part of the introduction. It's from the right video.)

Yeah, I used yout.com to download the audio, so I didn't get a copy of the video. Maybe someone can take the footage of the introduction from a reaction streamer and sync it up with the audio...

Saw this last night and so many mannerisms and speech patterns and physical behaviors spoke to me of Tom Tooter. It's fascinating that so many of these guys are basically sharing a personality.
“You’re 53? Why you got them bags under your eyes?”

“Look at where i work, bruh.”

It's not. It's the opening segment of The Most Compelling Police Interrogations Part 13.
I made an account just for this, I spent the greater part of last night searching for the Smollet episode and I can't thank you enough for this archive you have made. There are SOOOO many episodes it seems I haven't seen and I wasn't even aware there was some youtube controversy over JCS.

Jim Can't Swim likely to have a new video out soon, but they are making a stink again of Youtube being Youtube, so who knows.

I come bearing gifts.

I'm tired of circulating shit as it's removed so I'll just drop the complete JCS archive with every video I've been able to unearth in one big Mega folder. Enjoy.

A couple of things to note. There's an episode list .txt file that should be a complete list of every JCS video ever made and it status, either MIA or FOUND. If anyone has any additional lost episodes they'd like to contribute, I'll be happy to add them. "The Bizarre Case of Stephen McDaniel" is unfortunately an archive from some nutcase's reaction livestream because it was significantly altered after its release and I neglected to make a backup before then. "The Interrogation of Stephanie Lazarus" is also missing its intro portion which pains me.

Lastly, the Jussie Smollett video on the YouTube channel has received similar treatment to the Prince Andrew one where they've been cut down to a handful of minutes. I went back and rewatched my old saved copy of the video for old times' sake and realized the version I had downloaded was from before they started chopping off the openings and outros of their videos. Videos used to start with previews of Patreon content and the outros had silly meme compilations, highlighted comments from previous videos, or - the much more interesting - shots of the JCS team. I've included the one from the end of the Smollett video here in case you wanted to see it without skimming through the video.

If you were ever curious about who's been behind the channel, here you go. Is there anything else on these people other than Kizzume and Scott?

Man that's some incredible work you have done to archive so many. I started to think i'd never find 'The Lifer Perspective' so thanks for managing to archive it mate. I've been digging for a while as well trying to find as much as I can but from the looks of it you seem to have found the ones I have too but i'll still double check my archive to see if there is anything I can contribute.

Was just wondering you listed 'The Insanity Defence Part 1' as found but the only video in the archive is the longer, 'The Insanity Defence' (which was the one I also had). Is it due to Part 1 just a trimmed down version of it or is it a seperate video entirely that is still MIA since i've been trying to hunt that one down for a while.

Looks like I might be able to contribute after all, it appears that "The Most Compelling Police Interrogations pt. 5 - Description: Clifford Burns, Jeff (Heroin Addict Armed Robbery), Kevin Gregson" is still listed as MIA in your list.

Hopefully that helps you out with one of the older and harder to find episodes. I'll keep looking through my trove that I have accumilated over the last couple years to see if there are any others that are still MIA.

Thank you for this one. It's been added to the archive.

As for The Insanity Defense, it's there. There was only ever one part made so I've got it just listed as "The Insanity Defense".

No one's posted the Yeardley's Boyfriend video yet. As sorry as I am for the girl, she had absolutely shit taste in men. I couldn't stand to listen to more than five minutes of this stuttering, brain-dead frat boy. The fact that Yeardley was able to put up with him for two years astounds me.

No worries at all. If I manage to come across any of the last ones i'll let you know but otherwise looks like it's pretty much fully complete.

I thought I had seen this story allready before.

Stupid question, is the sound of the narrators voice AI generated on these videos?

The videos are narrated by a guy named Kizzume. He has a personal channel that he's been uploading commentary videos to for like 15 years.

Some parts in the most recent JCS upload does sound like it could have been AI generated though. The portions of the narration that were ripped from the original upload (recorded in 2019) sound normal, but then they start using voice overs that were obviously recorded recently for this re-release and those parts sound wildly different from the older recordings. He sounds like he's speaking way faster than normal with some different processing effects.

Yeah I just went to check it out and once the interrogation starts and the first voice over line is spoken it sounds vastly different to the original one and not just due to some post processing editing. It's almost like a Kizume text to speech robot or something it's so damn weird since if it really was to 'fit with Youtube guidelines' why on earth would they re-record the exact same dialogue, makes no sense.

My theory is they had a falling out with Kizume (and maybe others) once the money started coming in. Now they are trying to replace him by having a robot narrate the interrogation and most likely hoping people will just get used to the robot.

I honestly can't find any other explanation for it that makes any sense.

It did sound a little uncanny. Oddly enough more emotive than usual. I'm not bothered by it either way, if it's the same guy feeding a script to an AI, or reading it, it's still a good listen.
