Sure, Furries have been around for many years, but they spank it at least to humanoid animals walking on two legs. Bronies seem like a digital-age version of lonely goatherds who cannot control their affections for their favorite goat.

Lauren Faust apparently went in to pitch a show called Galaxy Girls which was intended to be a magical girl anime type thing loosely based on Sailor Moon, but instead Hasbro hired her to reboot MLP. So she gave the horses magical girl personalities. Introduce this shit to 4chan, and degeneracy and horsefucking was pretty much guaranteed. I half suspect she did it on purpose.

She's "alive" but she needs help moving around. But then there's other times that she's able to move by herself.

Here is a video of "Twilight" dancing to a remix of the Inspector Gadget theme and it's just him moving her about. This is what other people see if they were to interact with Jin as he's carrying the plushie around. But on the other hand there are times he's mentioned something about her actually walking around and swearing, I think it was due the first Equestria Girls movie and they created a love interest for her or something? He was royally pissed and Twilight was stomping around the room, swearing and both wanted to give Hasbro a piece of their mind.

Long story short, Jin is crazy and is imagining things. The only other explanation is that she's like Hobbes from "Calvin & Hobbes" where he's real when he's alone with Calvin but a stuffed tiger when anybody else is around.

I think that the 'elements of friendship' is one of the biggest things that appeal to the Bronies. The cardinal virtues of what they think would be the perfect girlfriend, all laid out in simplistic terms in the form of a cheerful, happy, unchallenging cartoon. There's no fuzzy edges, every sin is always forgiven, and there's no unwashed flesh, morning bad breath, menstruation, or telling them that it's their turn to make the dinner. But the mane six are perfect! Exactly like women should be!

TL;dr MLP offers neckbeards ideal women who won't talk back.

I his post about the birthday, Jin claims he wasn't alone and that one of twilight a "real human friends" came to visit.
To be honest, it's probably easier for him to pretend when there's actual people around because then he brain doesn't have to realize he's the only one in the room.
