I made a clean edit for those curious about what he said in the video.

It's all the parts prior to when his audio died, and then the sound effects and end popup since he wanted those included in any edits. The video cuts from just before he drank the poison to the end popup, for those who want to see everything except him dying/ being dead.

As a bonus this video is 21 minutes long, which he might appreciate since he seemed fixated on 21 grams.

How on earth did he get the Sims pop up to display after he died? Freaky genius.

One of my favorite bits in Winkolore was that the had to clarify this wasn’t meant to be a caricature of a really creepy and ugly white gay guy he dated (though it’s very close) and was instead based off of how Somalians look.

His preference for uglier men kinda throws a wrench into the Romario theory becuase Romario has been described as incredibly handsome with soft features by Joe.

1. It’s so surreal to see the curtain pulled on the wizard and now all we have left is the man behind it all.
2. I don’t trust that Jacko guy one bit. Everytime even a minutely famous person dies there’s always going to be a grifter who goes “erm achtually,all of this is fake and here’s the REAL story”
 
Very sad. I don't believe he was adopted, it may have been a cope/delusion similar to Pixyteri believing that her dad wasn't her real dad and that she was secretly half Japanese. Or, Joe Winko was an intentionally unreliable narrator as the playwright of his own life. He did seem to have a penchant for parallel universes and alternate timelines. Whatever the case, he certainly bore a strong resemblance to his family.

Honestly, the more I see stuff about him and his family, the more I’m thinking he got lost in his own narratives and delusions, or he was doing a lot of attention-seeking online by creating this sad story about himself (which wouldn’t be surprising considering the huge set up he created for his suicide to be found online). With all of his Sims movies and his creativity, it’s not hard to believe he would come up with a story to make himself more interesting than he actually was. And all the countless failed relationships he had with these doubtful men… there must have been some sorta reason we didn’t know about. You know… I’m starting to wonder if his suicide was a big attention-seeking thing… and he didn’t actually want to die, and he got way too lost in his own delusions or “his sad story” he created for himself, and thought he was suffering mentally for real when it was more or less the case.

Either way, if he had a family who truly cared for him like we can see on the pictures, I can’t help but feel sympathy for them, with him having filmed his own suicide, easy to reach for anyone who truly cared about him. Can’t imagine having a family member’s suicide just being online forever.

I do, he was adopted, but maybe an intra-family or friend adoption? Sounds like his mom was troubled and on drugs, so it’s pretty common for family to step in and adopt the kids when the parents are trainwrecks.

Winokowski is a Polish name, so I’d guess one parent was a white pollack and the other was a black. Joe claimed his mom was 14 when he was born and died when he was very small. He said his dad was a drug addict too.

Hawaii has big US military base, I could see a parent being there due to the military bases.

He has claimed he had a “twin brother named Crystal” which his bio-dad drown in a sink as a baby - and went to prison for it. He stated the dad died in prison in 1998. This is a wild claim but so specific it makes me think it’s true or is based upon facts.

Oddly the photos above look like he has an alive and well twin brother. “crystal” is a girl’s name, but states it was a twin brother, not sister, and acknowledged it’s not a typical boy name.

But it sounds like his biological parents were mentally ill drug addicts and that’s how he ended up being adopted. Who his adopted family is in relation to his bio-parents is an interesting question, if there is a connection.

I can 100% confirm the "twin brother named Crystal Winko" is entirely fake and made up by him. The whole character of Crystal Winko originated in one of his Sims movies in 2011, and from then on he LARPed about it being real, and that Crystal's spirt is always with him despite the fact that he never met Crystal and he has no memories of him. His evidence for Crystal existing was that Crystal appeared to him in his dreams.

He also says that Crystal was named that because he had bright blue eyes, which is pretty unlikely given Joe's genetics.

I think he was adopted. I'm not sure about the brother being a twin or just looking similar. It appears that he recently deleted some online profiles so is probably aware of what has happened.

If that's the case I'm guessing the brothers were adopted together or something?

Really hard to understand where reality/fiction start and end.
