Really Part 7's production probably is going to massive since SBR is a really long part with large landscapes and horses.

Like it is going to be comical how easy it is to animate Part 8 in comparison since Part 8's really not that complicated

Yeah and Jojo is a massive IP so they really have to bring their A-Game to this

It was really a blessing that the dub just dropped the stupid accents hard, cause while some of them were fun, we also got Caesar who sounded so bad in the dub.

What exactly is so ugly about them? I've seen some artfolk on twitter saying the same thing, that they "oversimplified" their designs and whatnot. I think they look fine for static pngs, let's wait and see how they turn out in motion.

Also the reveal pngs are always ugly. Both the Part 5 reveal cast (i.e. Pink Giorno for example) and Jolyne png both were memes for awhile

Not to mention SBR is going to be the most complicated part to animate not only because of the horses, but the large sprawling landscapes. They also need to make animation friendly designs that would work with the horses.

his overshirt (idk what it is supposed to be exactly) would need to be rendered and shaded consistently across every frame, the same with johnnys stars, the time it would take to do that would be insane considering 90% of the pages of the manga have at least one of them, i think like mista, funny and dio will be unchanged because they don't appear as often.
this could also be like when they changed giorno giovannas pallet from blue to pink to make him look more like a faggot

Were people really expecting the character designs to be anything better than the best we got from say, Part 3? This isn't the 1980s, Japan's economy is so drained dry there basically can't be 1:1 character design matches between the manga (arguably the best looking JoJo part once it got running) and the animu. Not even Jew David Production has the funding for that...

I'm just hoping they return to JoJo part II levels of creative color usage. Not exactly talking about the flipped palate swaps, I mean the background designs using mutiple colors, and even patterns on the characters as well. Parts 1 and 2 are the most blatant with these imo. If Part 7 is to be a breath of fresh air like the manga was, they need to step up that imaginative expression again.

For example, the stars to represent the "American" JoJo, the patterns and lines and the variety of colors really making the ancient stone backgrounds "pop", etc.

I honestly hope Steel Ball Run is good while still realizing that I’m procrastinating over finishing Stone Ocean and trying to finish collecting the Stardust Crusaders and Diamond Is Unbreakable series.

Seriously, you can’t beat anime men riding on horses. That alone is 10/10 material before even watching the full episodes.
