Almost every arc in SBR is a 10/10. It's what makes it that good.
Steel Ball Run is among the top 3 parts that have a fun selection of minor antagonists as well (the other parts that can compete for best cast of minor villains are Vento Aureo and Jojolion with some of the minor antagonist fights in SBR really giving strong competition to the best fight the part.

With the latest chapter of the Jojolands, I must say I like how scaled down the stands power scaling is compared to Part 8. It almost reminds me of Parts 4 and 7 with how Stands feel almost like tools or mundane with how some users can feel threatened by guns, it makes me excited to see how this fight turns out

personally i like this direction.
stands like star platinum feel way too generic shonen shit where characters punch each other until they die.
what makes jojo special to me is that the stands have logic and limitations to their powers, so that when one of the characters figures out how to beat them and that reveal happens.
you the reader feels like you could have figured that out yourself in you were in the story,
its harder to do this with star platinum or shining diamond whos users cannot be killed with guns,
considering smooth operators cannot parry bullets the story has to be written that much better to achieve the same results.
part 3 made great efforts to signify to the reader that guns had no effect on a stand user but a gun that incorporates a stand is actually useful, emperor and sex pistols are gun stands,
this changed in steel ball run with users wielding guns as normal weapons separate from the functionality of their stands.
i think this is a good direction to go in, it makes the fights more relatable and realistic

something happened with mangadex so i cant read the chapter or any other chapters. where do i go now

It was meant to be an introduction to the idea of Stands after two generations of Ripple. Also, while punching ghosts are rather generic in appearance and power, they also have severe limitations on what they can do creating tension that way. I think that from Part 4 and onwards, Stands had a good combination of punches and interesting abilities. Crazy Diamond is a good example of that. He can break bones but he also has an ability that has many applications with its high versatility.

Try MangaFire.
