If part 6 is getting this loving treatment despite being one of the most disliked jojo parts next to part 1, imagine what they'll come out with for part 7's anime.

I don't know, I do hope Part 7 does get this good treatment, though I worry for the animators because of the whole horses issue that will likely come up.

But it really makes me happy how the anime seems to be treating Part 6 since it is the best finale to the original universe

They have netflix money now and have already gotten the part 7/8 style down thanks to the Rohan OVAs they put out. Horses are a major problem for sure but everything else is essentially already solved so they can focus 100 percent on that issue.

Yeah that's true, I also need to watch those Rohan OVAs.

On another note, I think it's a fair assumption to assume that Jolyne's VA in English is Kira Buckland only because she has been radio silent on a lot of the Part 6 news which is strange for someone whose a huge jojo fangirl.

Kind of reminds of Jet Grind Radio for some reason, though I’m not complaining. Pretty catchy opener with great animation and long cut sequence(s).

Come October 31st, 2022, expect to see more /fit/ women to dress up like Jolyne, and I’m not just talking only Japanese women. I’m calling it now.

One question I have regarding the anime adaptation is, when it comes to Part 8, are they just gonna adapt it straight with no changes?

Because whereas the previous parts have some iffy plot moments that can be somewhat comfortably ignored or explained away, Part 8 has the blatant unaddressed plot hole/dropped plot thread that is the flash-forward.

I don’t see them changing major plot points or rewriting large chunks of the story, but I would like to see this fixed, either by cutting it entirely, or making it flash forward to what ACTUALLY happened.

Well with previous parts they do change things around or would foreshadow characters. Part 8 would probably have stuff removed if it distracts or they'd change the flash forward to be more accurate. I can definitely see Part 8 improving Tooru by implementing him earlier.

Yeah, Im curious to see what theyre going to do with that and with Flashback Man. Its not unusual for them to ask for Araki's input and even have him write new stuff for them, like he did with Fugo's flashback in 5, so I'm optimistic.

Maybe JoJo might be one of the few to have an adaptation that is equal and at times, superior to its original, breaking the status quo of "animes being mostly inferior to the manga/source material". Still cynically skeptical about it though.

Well it already has done that with Part 5 since the anime is 1000x better than the Part 5 Manga.

Also the anime is going to release in about 2 or so hours from the time I am writing this
 
I'm going to watch it when it's on an anime streaming sites since I don't have Netflix, but I'm hyped

Also Kira Buckland is pretty much confirmed as Jolyne so hell yeah to her!

Happy that Jolyne in JP and English are both played by hardcore fans of her.
