Today is Koichi Hirose's birthday!
I love this little man.
Easily the best character in Part 4 and the one who went through the most change.

Despite Part 5 being objectively better in just about every way, I like Part 6 more purely because Jolyne is a top tier Jojo and Stone Free is a top tier MC stand, whereas Giorno is trash and Gold Experience is hand-wavy bullshit, even more so than other MC stands, because its ability is “creating an animal that is convenient for the situation”.

Part 5 easily has the best side cast and the best villain cast, and probably the best stand fights of all the Jojo parts. It’s crazy how much Giorno and Diavolo drag down the part for me. While Pucci is kind of a lame villain as well, he at least has the hilarious motivation of making a baby with Dio’s “bone”.

also, I apologize if I’m repeating myself from earlier in the thread. I usually go into this schpeil when Part 5 vs. Part 6 gets brought up.
Not sure if you are joking or not (since there are so many retarded Jojo fans out there who misunderstand this, but if you are joking I apologize) but Pucci's motivation is to really enact the plan of achieving heaven so humanity would not feel suffering or pain when they encounter misfortune due to his own tragedy.

As for the Part 6 stuff, I definitely agree it is way better than 5 since Jolyne and Pucci are really great characters who make the part really stand out and elevate it high. There are also some good fights now and then with the ending being very kino.

But Part 5 is better though just in terms of the supporting cast and the villain cast (I did enjoy Diavolo/Doppio), but Giorno and Silver Chariot Requiem honestly dragged the part down for me as SCR's arc felt dragged out and convoluted with the only interesting things being the body swap shenanigans being hilarious to the body horror. The ending was also too brief and I wished the anime adaptation had expanded on it like for Part 4 since the anime made so many changes to Part 5 that were really great and made it a superior adaptation compared to the source material.

I hope David Productions makes these sort of creative decisions to enhance the part when they get to Part 6 (especially if they fix up the god awful Punishment Ward arc.)

Hoping for Purple Haze Feedback
