This is pretty sad because you’re both being kind of morons to be honest. It blows my mind this is what two adults are saying to each other and doing with their own time rather than trying to build others up or at least give constructive criticism.

I understand lolcows and 4chan are good places to vent frustration and observe people who are dysfunctional or socially inept, but this is embarrassing. Both of you are being very whiny, lmao.

Its obvious any advice will be ignored because it’s easy to discredit people by saying lolcows=bad people and it seems any good criticism falls on deaf ears. It’s much easier to preach to a tumblr choir about how goofy a potato with horrendous English is and get a ton of heart reacts than to do something hard that creates growth apparently.

The only thing I find grating is that he’d Rather spend another hour typing out a dozen paragraphs jumping through hoops to relate angry conservatives to hey Arnold for some stupid reason.

I really can’t wait for his hot takes on how Christians hated the black power ranger, or how conservatives wanted to shut down digimon and Harry Potter for being evil, (for the third time!!!) . Some legends say they even hate bats!!

I’m really second-hand embarrassed by nutjobs too, but it’s really tiring when someone attacks these people while painting them all with a broad strike. The culture is rapidly changing. It’s low hanging fruit and old news. I feel like he believes everyone attacks him because they disagree with him when there are honestly just dozens of people just sick and tired of being talked down to about the absolute borefest of social justice.

He’s like negaverse John K that creates cool art, but instead of actively being a piece of shit his insecurities make him obsessed with wanting to be a “good guy” until it’s a problem.

I don’t want to white knight, but I just want to see him adapt and grow without the tumultuous social politics of the present effecting his well being and the one thing he does that brings ALL people together regardless of ideas, his drawing.

Someone complained about the questionally slow update rate of awful hospital. If we don't count the corona advive update a week ago, last official page is 21 day ago wich is kinda long, yes he did some mortasheen during this long hiatus but those 2 were 4 days ago. The users bashed the complainer with silly rhetoric similar to yandev defender;
'bogleech have a life'' (only valid one, unless it patreon material, he technically free to do whatever he want)
''do your own comic'' (just dumb)
''he's busy'' (bog work agenda is kinda blurry, his coloring book is already done, his mortasheen that may slow the AH update are both done, the other official thing he do are his patreon and novela, his patreon update rate is just as slow as AH if not slower, is novela statue are unknow)
''a comic is hard to do'' (the art style is simplistic and it' generally a case per update, I saw more sophisticated comic so no it don't look that hard and long to do)

Just posting this because I sympathise with the complainer and I was frustated when people bashed him when he have a valid point

There's this thing RationalWiki (which is really just a version of KiwiFarms that's gone Violet Beauregarde on bluepills) calls Crank Magnetism, where someone with "crazy ideas" tends to pick up other "crazy ideas". Their analysis is a really wordy way of beating around it being as simple as the fact that if you've decided that, say, academic consensus, isn't infallible, it's easier to disagree with them on other topics. When Smart People are crank magnets, they call that the Inverse Stopped Clock instead (this is a quite funny page itself, but off topic). Now, anyway, SJWs are notorious crank magnets, mostly about whatever appeals to their delusions of grandeur. However, they mostly got away with it because feminists had power in academia and media. If they didn't, they'd probably start going with whatever. They seem to have at one point, since Jennifer's UFO sighting doesn't entirely revolve around him. Now that I've spelled this out, nah, probably not. Most "crazy ideas" are motivated by genuine interest in whatever, and archetypical SJW topics aren't about anything but grifting normalfags for fun and profit. Even the ones who get into self-professed witchcraft are just doing it to have superpowers as part of their identity, not actual religious intent.

Bog don't sound particularly cultivated outside of america(he didn't know what a tim horton is. Maybe it a nitpick hence he live in west coast, but it a well know canadian stereotype/culture). I do remember about once he said ain't racist to say white people have bland taste or something similar(I could even post a screenshot if I find it) It one of those message when I kindly disagreed with it and he argue with me in DM how much I was wrong
