To be fair, one or two trans women have shown up in this whole mess attacking Jonathan. But really, and this is something I’ve been saying for a while now, the trans community needs to take out the trash, just as the gay community did. They need to acknowledge that there are problems with current trans politics, and that doesn’t mean all trans people are bad, but some are, and other trans people need to deal with that.

To give an example of what I mean, look at the gay community’s attitude towards the Dylan Hafertepen scandal. Widespread condemnation and closing of the ranks.

If they don’t, then shit like this, and Zinnia, and Rachel McKinnon is going to keep happening and all progress the transgender rights movement have made will be undone.

People talk about this shit on Twitter now. They organize on Twitter now when they want to take action. Any trans person who tries to speak out about it on Twitter will be banned from Twitter because of powers that are opaque to any outside influence. What's to be done?

A lot of SJW twitter knows shit is fucked up, I optimistically believe. They also know they have created a monster where if they speak out they will be swallowed up before anyone can hear their call to action. Everyone is muzzled because they don't want to be thrown on the pile with the deplorables and terfs.

Don't think this has been posted yet, if so feel free to delete, but here is the Human Rights Tribunal decision from 12/11/18 to reopen JY's complaint, but not for the reason that I know you're thinking.

Spoiler: Highlights:

• The judge gives a nice rundown of the Tribunal getting JY's complaint in March, serving it to Shelah, and her response of hiring the JCCF in July 2018 to represent her, which I used as the TL;DR, then goes into more detail.

• In June JY files for the publication ban.

• Apparently the JCCF immediately slapped back by posting Jonny's name and address, as well as the form he filled out to file the complaint, on their website.
• Jonny shit himself and got them to remove his name. However, they left his home address posted, leading to a conference call in September between JY, the Tribunal, the JCCF, and Shelah, and oh to be a fly on the wall in that scene.

• In that call, Shelah and her counsel argued that they shouldn't be limited by a publication ban on JY's name, as he has a public trannie persona. The judge agreed and postponed talking about lifting the publication ban until October.

• JCCF posted an article calling the complaint withdrawal a victory and included JY's home address again for the lulz. Specifically this one here, which includes the phone number and email address of the lawyer that Jonny's so scared of.
  
• Apparently, the defendants are also allowed to file a counter-complaint for improper conduct or filing false claims, and they totally did so. They are trying to prove that JY's not a real tranny, and also get money from him or the Tribunal (lol). They're also fighting the publication ban tooth and nail.

• The judge has a problem with the fact that Shelah and the JCCF filed their counter-complaint a day late, that they didn't provide a copy to JY, and that they were big ol meanies in their filing.

• So, the judge firmly says nope to cash money, but reopens the complaint.

I wonder if this is a case of Twitter realizing the Streisand Effect exists, or if some sane person higher up found out that some low-level troon employee has been protecting a pedophile, OR if the response to this sort of thing depends heavily on which low-level employee happens to take the ticket. That last highlighted bit should scare the shit out of any rational thinking person.

“Judge” Cousineau (she’s a lawyer by trade) is one of the three tribunal members presiding over the Yaniv-adjacent Whatcott v. Oger trial. Yes Bill Whatcott is a nutcase, so take this with some salt, but in this post he suggests that Cousineau might have financial ties to Oger via contributions to the NDP (of which Oger is VP of the BC branch) and as Bill puts it “tranvestite political groups”... which is interesting considering that Oger himself is the director of his very own political non-profit, the Morgane Oger Foundation.

Trying not to get OT here, but I do wonder if the knot tying all these Canuck rat tails together involves financial shenanigans, perhaps more so than ideological solidarity. In the US there is a certain amount of transparency applied to charities and nonprofits which allows even us plebes to get a handle on how these groups operate. I don’t know if there is that same openness in Canada. But if there is, is there anyway to determine charitable contributions from individuals? Perhaps determine if there are any financial ties between Yaniv, Oger, and even the tribunal itself?

This isn't an "approved" appeal. This is admitting that you broke their rules and them giving your first strike. This is the process by which they ban people for wrongspeak that isn't "u r a big fag nigger."

If they didn't restore the tweet then you were ruled against.

The only reason I even know about Blaire is from a liberal friend who likes Blaire’s take on a lot of things, which was interesting to me. She doesn’t seem to use Twitter a lot though do we just have to hope she stumbles on the story I guess.

You're only first in Google's search results because even before this thread was made/people knew your name you drank so much Search Engine Optimization juice and had anything negative about you taken down. You have no mainstream clients to harm, your Twitter account is 80% fake followers so you have no image to be harmed/brand to be retaliated against... How the fuck did he get this publication ban? He says the context of the complaint/reasoning/decisions are what's important, but I feel like this is the first document I've seen from the tribunal in this entire thread. Maybe the only one of any importance, at least.

I think what really gets me personally is that only Yaniv had his shit privatized in this complaint/publication ban- the other parties were all doxed because they don't need to file for anonymity as they've done nothing wrong. Even doing nothing wrong, they should still have their shit privatized- things should go both ways in a case this embarrassing at this point.

No, when they reject an appeal, they're very explicit about it. They make you delete the tweet yourself if you were ruled against. You'd know if you were ruled against.
