He seems to be making money through shady SEO. I happened to look at his google reviews profile within 30 minutes of him leaving a 5 star review for an antique shop called Isabella's Haus that only had two other reviews also made within that 30 minute timeframe. One of the other reviewers was "MrLocksmith webmaster", someone he did work for before. Someone like him would have quite a network of sockpuppets to get things done.

edit: and the third reviewer, Terry Whin-Yates, is the CEO of Mr. Locksmith.

I dunno man, I think companies are turning to sending freebies to literally anyone with a platform that isnt openly hated/"right wing". It's probably cheaper and more effective than regular advertising, because most people use ad blockers anyway but will listen to, at least, whatever person theyre following. A lot of people think those endorsements or sponsorships are more "real" than a commercial or something anyway, even when non disclosed -- which theyre supposed to be disclosed -- or pretty easily seen as fake, because the audience sees them as coming from "real people" who may not actually like the product and surely wouldnt lie or bend "their morals" for a paycheck. Now was he truly someone with an audience before all this? Probably not, people dont want to read his shit - its a niche market and people have their go to sources, and those who know of him hate him. I doubt he's getting much actual traffic that isnt bots, and if they do and bother to check the author and look into him, I think they would be turned off.

As long as he keeps the thing mostly low key, he will continue to get by and I think he knows this which is why he works so hard on silencing--the long term game is risky but the benefits outweigh the risks. Hes already using the "my enemies are TERFs" and shit, so he's got that on his side for leverage if things do spiral out.

I was talking about if he can continue to keep this censoring act up, companies dont always look too much into a person. He's been doing this for years but managed to keep it quiet just by silencing people talking about it and otherwise saying it's all a TERF hoax against him, and still gets deals, even if it's not that many.

He's a slimy fraudster and scammer, this shit is his playground, unfortunately.

He hasn't effectively silenced people though. This thread, JonathanYaniv.org and JessicaYaniv.org exist and they're all pretty high in search results for his names, as well as trustednerd.

This thread, in fact, is #2 on google for trustednerd. (Google search in Brave's tor mode.)

He's a scammer but not a particularly talented one. He's gone up against people only slightly more technologically ignorant than he is. When he goes up against people who actually know what they're doing, he's completely out of his element.

Edit: And even on twitter and reddit, people are just referring to him with euphemisms, like Balldemort and #WaxMyBalls.

This thread has grown exponentially since I last checked it. Given the bold disclaimer about keeping on topic in the OP, is it worth reading? Any noteworthy developments since Null’s livestream, or did it degenerate into troon and TERF sperging entirely?

edit: also, meghan murphy sued twitter over her ban for calling Yaniv "he" so now all his bullshit is permanently preserved in court filings in america

Not to nitpick at the mods too heavily, but I just had my post about getting another ban from twitter deleted by the mods because "nobody cares about you being banned from twitter". For clarification's sake, this was more about it being interesting that he's still reporting tweets and feels the need to report almost 4 month old tweets than me actually seeking pity or anything.

If that's not a relevant update fine but I thought it was worth posting.
