My absolute fave thing about this pool party outrage is that this shitty, shitty idea wasn't even Jonathan's originally (it was a joint ToL/Langley Local Action Team/Encompass Support Services Society idea), but he's getting all of the credit, and he fucking deserves it. Per this article, Encompass was the main organizer, which is a pretty beefy-looking social services hub and their judgement deserves some examination. It shouldn't take an increasingly infamous creepy tranny finding out about your adults-free underage swim off of a New Zealand fruit-based website for a double-take on that one.

Knew he'd absolutely love that attention. He's basking in it right now, even though he's coming off as an utter creep and every comment is negative. Enjoying such negative feedback so very publically just confirms every suspicion about this guy - he has no brakes, nothing is too far or embarrassing to him, and he gets off on people "hating" him.

How do you deal with someone like Yaniv? You can't ignore him (because he's a pedo, a racist and trying to force women to handle his sweaty nutsack), but anything you do say, whether positive or negative, just makes him happier and more bold. No wonder so many people are enraged when they read up on him. He's almost a caricature of the evil troon. And you know the second you do or say anything that Yaniv can use for leverage, he'll be on it, especially if it involves using the law (or twitter rules).

Yes. I feel like I could make a point about women doing the same annoying shit when it comes to dudes. Primary difference is that no woman in her right mind would go into a male restroom, locker room, or sports. They just fuck with stuff guys like to do. So the severity is obviously different I suppose.

Yaniv is taking advantage of most women's generally empathetic attitude towards "sad stuff" which yaniv exemplifies if you don't know pretty much anything about him. The moment you hear the "wax my balls stuff" that'll go out the window if you're one of those empathetic women.

There’s a big difference between women invading “stuff guys like to do” and men invading formerly safe spaces for women. One involves guys not wanting yucky girls around in their club, the other involves women not being safe in the presence of predatory men who are physically bigger and stronger than them. Pretty sure men don't need to worry about assault or rape by women who start getting into their prisons and washrooms.

Women aren’t asking for safe spaces away from men because they’re annoyed by men’s presence, but because they don’t feel safe, and with good reason.

She's American, right? If so she can't be sued. Or rather, Jonathan can file in Canada, but America doesn't enforce foreign defamation judgments, because foreign government defamation laws run afoul of 1A. Wikipedia of the law in question

I love that he’s embracing this. He has no idea what’s coming, he’s just so excited for the attention. Probably thinks he’s going to use this “notoriety” to launch a book or celeb career or something.

He’s like a man standing with arms wide on the train tracks as a passenger train barrels down on him, yelling, “look at all the people rushing over to meet ME!! I’m so SPECIAL!!”

And when the media train has moved on to other interesting destinations, we will be scraping what’s left of him off the tracks and into a pail, before dropping a flattened tiara in with it.

Tbh it's not even that most of the time. We aren't talking about "stuff women or men like to do". If trannies or any men at all wanted to take sewing classes with a bunch of middle aged women, no one would care. It's not generalized "stuff". It's private women's areas. Women want to play sports, for instance, and there are still Olympic events women cannot participate in. But women aren't fighting for the right to enter men's locker rooms. That's what troons want: to literally invade private spaces, not simply do the stuff the other sex usually likes to do.

Truth isn't a absolute defense to defamation in Canada like in the US. Also they don't have the first amendment. They have "free speech is a 'nice to have' ".

Like a newspaper in Canada could probably defend themselves, it's just not nearly as guaranteed as in the US.

For all intents and purposes in this case, it is. You can't sue a newspaper for publishing true facts about you.
