Not really, he is an owner here so the bar to kick an owner out is set very high. Strata could start making his life more difficult but I think the decision was made that he would makes stratas life difficult through lawsuits if they tried too hard.

Wouldn't take much gawking to throw him into a tizz. If you read the MandaPanda transcript, you see he lives in terror. Someone's thrown something at his window! Someone might throw something at his window! Someone set off a firecracker!

So he drinks and drugs and calls the RCMP because any second now someone will kill him right where he sits, a mewling huge toad in a nice apartment in a low crime area with mommy living across the street.

Maybe he thinks he deserves to be killed?

@WGkitty I'd have to think there would have to be something in the bylaws..from hygiene & the cleanliness of his portion...To You can't have orgies every weekend....I'd be willing to bet there's a clause for registered sex offenders.
It might be interesting to talk to some realtors & see if his presence is lowering property values
"Good schools.. park nearby...& a nice tranny in 3B"
The more his fame grows...the lower the prop. values. & I believe the more open lawyers for the strata would be to remove him.
When is the next meeting? Can he be fined for non compliance?

@WGkitty is right about the difficulty in removing an owner from a strata corporation. It takes noteworthy ongoing violations. A recent case in Vancouver involved a woman who ran a Hong Kong cage house style hostel from her townhouse. After several judgements in court in favor of the strata she was eventually forced to sell her townhouse. It wasn't until she refused to pay the strata hundreds of thousands in court winnings that she was finally ordered by the court to sell the property. It took the strata and court years to finally resolve the issue.

When you account for his violent outbursts and the fact that he is a massive threat now to anyone who even looks at him (rape!!!!!!) I would think that would be at least grounds for some kind of hearing at least. Everyone in the building is now a target of future false allegations or physical attacks.

True, but it would be pretty hard to go after him when he lives next door to you. Just look how crazy he's gotten over WG Kitty. If he knew who Kitty was, I've no doubt there would be at least vandalism against Kitty's property if not actual violence. I can understand not wanting to stir up that hornet's nest when all you are trying to do is live your life in peace.

I think, though, that if JY were in danger of actually doing jail time, he and Mama Yaniv would be on a flight to Israel. Israel doesn't extradite, so he'd be safe there. And everyone else would be a little safer without him in Canada.
