Not a chance he was taken to a psych ward. Shockingly, that's an obvious lie. It probably won't surprise you that it's very difficult to take someone against their will and essentially "lock them up" for a few days because it's a very serious violation of someone's rights to do that. There have been laws called "scoop laws" in the past that used to allow a cop to basically grab you off the street and take you in if they felt you were "crazy" and as I'm sure you can imagine, this was abused to holy hell against the homeless or anyone else that pissed off the cops sufficiently but hadn't actually commited a crime. These days, of you get taken in, it's a very big deal, not as simple as someone trying to "suicide swat" you and it's a mandatory 72 hour hold.
If anything, he got taken to an ER because a cop thought he was legitimately in trouble but he would've agreed to go if this were the case. From there, a psychiatrist would recommend the hold if necessary. Psychiatrists know people will try and play nice to get let go in five minutes and they can't assess you without some time to do so. You can't just talk your way out. Two ways to get a hold: 1) be assessed at an ER you got taken to voluntarily or 2) throw such a fit that the cops arrest you and take you an ER against your will because you're now in custody for attacking a cop. If there's another way, I'm not aware of it but of course, IANAL. How to get someone help who doesn't want it is a serious balancing act between needing to act and protecting the person's civil rights. It's not so simple.
Edit: if/when he sues, I sincerely hope he brings this story up in court so it can easily be shown he's an opportunistic liar. Obviously, there would be quite the paper trail if his story were true.

Oger is influential only in his dreams. Was just looking at his twitter timeline, and Morgane Oger is apparently trying to give the other articles on his blogging website a nice ride on the coattails of his post denouncing Jonathan Yaniv, which likely brought in more views than all his other blogs posts combined. Before the Yaniv post was publicized, I never even knew he had a blog.
Anyway, he is posting past blog posts or maybe furiously writing new ones to ride the wave, I don't know, but what's telling is his tweets promoting these posts barely have any likes or retweets. I think the most "liked" one is up to 18 likes. The rest have around 4-8. His open letter to Meghan Murphy didn't get much notice, so he tweeted it again with some hashtags, and still no one cared.
Don't know if Morgane Oger ever had tweets and blog posts that received a decent amount of positive attention in the past. Maybe he never did and the low number of likes is par for the course, or maybe his ass patters are finally wising up after this latest Jonathan Yaniv debacle where Oger is trying to blame feminists for a pedo-creep-menstruation-fetishist taking advantage of Morgane's precious but poorly thought-out statutes to enjoy full legal access to girls in public restrooms.

This is pretty typical though. While there's a literal shitstorm brewing around JY, they'll either cry foul with a swatting post, hospital post or whatever, or flip it around that they are living their very best trans life. It's all attention seeking in one form or another.
