With all the recent events and lawsuits coming from Jessica, I can't help but wonder if there's some underlying need for being the center of attention. Perhaps he has histrionic personality disorder?

JY stated recently that he did have a personality disorder while shilling for asspats. For sure, it's in the Cluster B family, comprised of antisocial, borderline, histrionic and narcissistic personality disorders. He has a need to see himself as Queen of the World; he can't truly contemplate why he's not; and with every indication to stop, he turns it into a personal war.

Years back, it was taught that personality disorders were essentially intractable. Maybe they don't use that word anymore, but they still are. People can take meds for psych conditions in other categories, but there aren't meds to fix personality disorders. All a shrink can do is work w/someone so they are more conditioned to ask themselves questions, but there isn't a way to implant a conscience.

I've been keeping up with this drama since the thread was new. I had an account but forgot the password and couldn't be assed to make a new account.

What I don't understand is why, after almost 300 pages, no one ever brings up how JY tried to get some young girl to meet him in a hotel:

This fucking sicko tried to convince a young girl to meet up with him under the guise to obtain pads for his disgusting wet dreams. There is absolutely nothing to justify this, EVERY sane adult knows that trying to meet up with a child that you do not know for any reason is wrong and a quick way to end up in jail. To me this is far more alarming than the often shared screenshots of JY talking about helping a girl out with a tampon. The tampon talks are disgusting, but it doesn't show him actually *doing* anything to a girl, it just shows him talking about a (disgusting) hypothetical situation. But with this screenshot, we see he actually attempted to do something with a girl.

There's no telling if he has ever been successful in getting a girl to meet up with him, but even if he hasn't done so yet, there is always the risk that one day he will. There is absolutely no reason or evidence to believe that Jonathan Yaniv isn't a risk to children. It makes me sick that Morgane Oger acts like Jonathan Yaniv is just a confused man who still has a chance for redemption. Jonathan Yaniv is beyond saving at this point. Once you start trying to meet up with children, you are a child predator, and child predators cannot be helped.

There hasn’t been an increase in homosexuality, there’s just been decreasing odds of being fired for it and/or stoned to death. People have been gay forever, but kept in the closet because society would beat the fuck out of them for it. Now people feel safer to admit it because they won’t automatically lose their jobs or friends for coming out of the closet. Whereas Oscar Wilde went to prison for being gay back in his day.

Divorce is higher because there’s less social pressure to stay married, whereas fifty years ago you were pressured to stay even in abusive marriages, for the sake of appearances.

Hookup culture has always been a thing, but hidden behind polite talk because it “wasn’t done.” Illegitimate children born from affairs/young unmarried hookups/literal incest has been a thing since the world began. Firing a maid and sending her packing with a little hush money because she became “in the family way” by the household’s eldest son is an absolute cliche.

Pedophilia and incest has been a thing FOREVER. People just didn’t mention it in polite society. Look up penny dreadful comics from the turn of the century for utterly shameful pedo and incest comics drawn by victorians and sold under the counter at bars and shops.

STDs are more virulent because they evolve, and the medicines used to combat them inadvertently help them evolve faster by learned resistance. We no longer live in eras where you rubbed mercury on your tackle to abate syphilis or you just died from it.

Everything you’ve mentioned has been happening for centuries, but it’s only recently we decided to start publically talking about it, instead of looking the other way and covering it up to “preserve decency.”
