I think that used to be the case, but now that media and schools are instilling into kids at an early age the gender studies and identity politics bullshit I think its likely that the larger share of those effected would have just grown up to be normal heterosexuals. 'gender issues' of old are probably not analogous to what we have now, where you can have a doctor tell you that your little boy is a girl inside because he wants to wear nothing but chartreuse spandex body suits.
It's horrifying to note that all those shows targeting kids, the ones that teach them how to be drag queens, are guaranteeing those kids will be medically, by todays standards, seen as transgender instead of as kids that like to play dress-up. That is a real conversion therapy, turning both straight and gay kids into transgender horrowshows.
