Thanks to
@sixthwave, we know that just two months ago in April, Yaniv
claimed to have had seizures and said he had wanted to have MRIs done, but his doctor had not gone forward with it. It's odd that a doctor wouldn't pursue that unless (1) it's just more of Yaniv's bullshit or (2) some seizure-like event had indeed occurred but a cause, such as
low blood sugar, had been reliably identified without an MRI. (Edit: EEG is likely to be the technology used to detect seizure activity in the brain, while an MRI may be used to identify a cause, such as a brain lesion.)
In the "it's obvious bullshit" column is, besides his constant pity posturing and lying, the fact that his seizure disorder announcement was paired with an epilepsy awareness speech by one of his beauty pageant idols,
Christine Jamieson.
I'm just like Miss Canada, you guise.
In the "maybe there's a thing" column are two possibilities that we know of: his recklessly uncontrolled beetus and his mother and aunt having mitochondrial disease (see her
comment below the article here), a condition he may have inherited that can lead to seizures, hearing loss, heart problems, and respiratory failure (more info in this
KF post by
@GrungyLawnChlorinate). We know from Yaniv's
review of a hearing aid center - found by
@Marinaca - that he does have hearing loss, so possibly some of the other health problems he reports are related to mitochondrial disease.
All I can say as a non-doctor is that the coyness and vagueness of his new brain surgery announcement don't ring true.
And we just had his announcements last week saying he was undergoing testing for brain, breast, and lung cancer, something had been found in his brain (as well as breast), and oh whew, nothing wrong at all. But hey, brain surgery is back on, folks, so feel sorry for him and don't be meanies about his latest
furriners gibs me bad services tweets.
Great team effort, peeps. His
health summary now has a
Brain Malady Neurological category instead of a WTF category.
