This completely reads to me that Charlotte has been taking an awful lot of info in from Twitter (and possibly KF) and has written a neutral, factual post in a manner that is to give information to JY’s ‘fan club’, Is anyone else seeing that or have I had too much wine?

Yeah, she's absolutely trying to convey some subtext there. Nobody ends a sentence about a pleasant surprise with a period, especially not a woman talking to/about one of her friends. The robotic play-by-play just seals the deal. If she had any positive feelings about JY's visit then she would've mentioned those instead.

He knows her event schedule
