It really pisses me off that no American news outlets are covering this shit either. Canadian "media bans" mean jack shit in the US. I know why they aren't (can't have any negative coverage of the precious trannies) but it still angers me. How much more does he have to do before somebody finally says "alright, enough, we need to cover this shit if for no other reason than to spin the 'tranny cause' away from this guy so he doesn't drag it down with him when he goes."

For that matter, why in the name of hell hasn't the tranny community "canceled" this idiot yet? There can't be a single tranny left who thinks Yaniv's done a good job advocating for LGBTBBQ+, can there?

Anyone who refers to themselves as an "IT Consultant" as a sole proprietorship (i.e. Not part of a consulting/vCIO firm) is someone who provides at the most a WordPress template, purchased Twitter followers, and basic SEO; though I can't say that last one applies very confidently considering the results when you Google JY's names.

He definitely has some knowledge of IT, since he's likely the one who got Null's data center contact from the ASN, but his portfolio is primarily things you would throw a couple hundred bucks at a freelancer for and get it done better.

This is the best news this thread has had for a while. Removing caregivers from a swim with underage teens is such a galaxy brained idea that you could get lawyers primed for a class-action sexual harassment lawsuit before the day even dawns.

I’m so confused by this. What justification is there for $15,000 costs???

I'm equally confused by JY's request for the initial $7500-or so amount to be doubled (and having said request granted) after the hearing was under way. I realize the tribunals have been likened to Kangaroo Courts, but I don't understand how JY, or any claimant for that matter, could ask for a new judgement amount on the fly (so to speak) -- especially when there isn't yet a ruling in JY's favor.

As much as we've wondered about the JCCF representation, this lawyer/counselor seems to have been able to BTFO JY so far and within the Tribunal's guidelines and format. Equally noteworthy was the comment that the publication ban may be reexamined not all that long after it had been reaffirmed.
