Quasi-legally speaking, what is the best possible outcome for the respondents in these cases regarding the decision itself? Complaint dropped and a sigh of relief had by all?
Is their current pro-bono representation planning on counter suits on their behalf, regardless of outcome?

The first part isn't surprising given the reports of the recent visits from the police and RCMP.

The second part is significant because just 24 hours ago, we were discussing Yaniv's testimony about supposedly losing "three figures" a day in income due to these tribunal appearances. It's no surprise this is yet another lie told to the tribunal to make Yaniv seem like the poor oppressed victim. Maybe it's time for Yaniv to rebrand as UntrustedNerd. :biggrin:

If Yaniv really is getting a :tugboat: for disabilities now, it could be damning for Yaniv to be seen not using/needing that scooter as much as claimed if that was the impetus for granting both disability status and the associated tugboat. Yaniv's awful financial status also explains the increased dependence on mummy.

As much as Jessica and Miriam are two creepy peas in a pod, I wouldn't wish elder abuse on the latter. It's very destructive and mentally draining for anyone that has to deal with the aggressors and the victims.

It also wouldn't surprise me if Jessica was abusing mummy in some way (I'd suspect mentally over physically) given the lack of income. Destitute kids often target their parents so they can parasitically clean the latter out of their money and spend it themselves on frivolous or illicit items while the parent suffers, usually with nobody else to turn to without feeling ashamed to have to admit they're being taken advantage of by their own kids.

In no particular order, I'd argue the two biggest reasons are oppression points (disabled trans activist always sounds good in today's SJW era) and for the tugboat given Jessica's tech-related income appears to have dried up to zero.

Therein lies the rub. Jessica, after the name change could have remained a tech consultant and been an activist without being so publicly abrasive and litigious and largely remained off the radar. Unfortunately, the need for attention and control did Jessica in, and here's where we stand. With the publication ban lifted, the name Jessica Yaniv is now almost as toxic as Chernobyl.

Most people can tell when someone is off and whether they're still functional (or trying to make a legitimate effort to be) or flat out creepy or otherwise behaving as someone that should be avoided whenever possible. Jessica sounds like someone in that last category: one you treat politely until you can quickly extricate yourself away from interacting with them.

Even with the ban initially granted and again upheld almost two months ago, Jessica constantly and publicly disclosed details about the case about which only someone involved would know. I fully agree with Member Cousineau's comment that the tribunal can't preserve Jessica's privacy when the latter is doing everything but keeping radio silence about the cases. That's why anyone smart or anyone with an attorney knows enough to keep quiet about pending legal action/investigations.

Definitely looking forward to catching up on goinglikeelsie's tweet chain. The associated salt & meltdown should be epic based on what's been posted so far.
