If the Tribunal rules against Yaniv, I think it would be interesting if the names of those Lawyers that refused representation to the defendants were named.
I think It's important at this point that not all the focus be on Yaniv directly, (for Yaniv its soon going to be punishment enough just being him) but rather all those people and organisations that enabled him in his activity.
An interesting example is all those leftists that celebrated Lindsay Shepherd being banned from twitter, who when their responses were flooded with info about Yaniv went suddenly silent on the topic. Most like that Vice Journalist were too smart to delete their tweets, but still I think that's where the real juicy stuff is going to be going forward.
Oger snake that he is, saw the way the wind was blowing with Yaniv, there are plenty others who had switched their brains to Auto Pilot with it comes to Trans issues, and haven't pivoted away from him in time, and who a careful archiver might be able to forever link to Yaniv.
Eventually Yaniv is going to crawl away somewhere, but hopefully the damage he's done will be hard to undo.

I disagree respectfully...like most serial litigators, i think he gets off on being listened to. He proposes more and more absurd things because that’s all he can think up to waste the council’s time with. He just wants attention and he’s found a steady stream of it in a community council that is not allowed to tell him to shut up and sit down.
It's also a matter of how ambiguous the insults are. Lindsay saying "at least I have a uterus, you fat ugly man" is an obvious insult to any employee responding to a report on Twitter (and is an insult regardless of the transgender angle, since she calls him fat and ugly) while JY saying "I heard @realDonaldTrump is building a wall inside of your uterus aka your 'reproductive abnormality' hopefully the walk works as intended" is an extremely weird, almost gibberish statement that gives you the sense that it's an insult but isn't as unambiguous as calling somebody fat and ugly. It requires the context of knowing that Lindsay Shepherd has an actual reproductive abnormality, since if you don't know that, it sounds like JY is just some weird tranny retard calling uteruses in general "reproductive abnormalities."

I have a question. When you're asking for "costs" in these situations do they have to be actual real costs? I know the member said there is no limit on what can be requested but do they have to have some basis in reality? Like, a filthy immigrant who works at A&W would have lower costs associated with missing a day of work than a stunning tech expert making mid 3 figures per day. ?

In the UK at least, courts will look at your net monthly wage for a period of 3-6 months prior.

I think you're applying logic to a setting like the BCHT where the rules have been written to satisfy other objectives.
To give an example from a different jurisdiction, there's an issue I'm aware of with the Irish Traveling community where various NGO's took it upon themselves to provide legal, 'advice' and education to them, with unintended (some would say entirely predictable) consequences. This resulted in some interesting cases, being taken to the Irish equality commission and Equality Tribunal, that of course were able to award substantial damages.
In the Irish Case, the upper limit of damages seems to have been calculated as the amount at which it would be worthwhile for the defendant to take a judicial review. (In Ireland you could appeal a case by simply taking the commission to court).
Allegations that these encounters were being provoked were usually not reported. However often papers would report facts such that that the Plaintiffs would usually wait the maximum amount of time before taking the case, and would also not notify the accused business in advance. Both things that made it harder for the business to defend themselves against the charges.
The clearest example I can find is this case.
Traveller wins discrimination case
A traveller who claimed she was asked to leave a branch of the maternity and childcare shop Mothercare by a male member of staff…
The business was accused of having a male staff member ask a Traveler to Leave. The fact that the business didn't have a male staff member wasn't an acceptable defense.
Yaniv has obviously received some sort of education when it comes to the BCHT. He's delusional, but he's managed to get the complaints to the point where they are now. He's following a process, whether he's doing it for money, frustrated sexual gratification, or just to roleplay being a hero.
