LOL. How to make an organisation look terrible in five minutes. It's like the Rebel set a trap for the BCHRT and the BCHRT drove straight into it, like a fat man on a mobility scooter falling into a deep pit covered with astroturf.

It's bonkers the way the BCHRT is a nondescript unit in an office building, it takes them 3 to 6 months to come to a decision and they don't release transcripts. It's all designed to fly under the radar. I bet Rebel is the first media organisation to cover them in a way that isn't a complete puff piece.

As shitty as BCHRT is, Rebel Media are just grandstanding here. The BCHRT won't and can't comment on a case that is pending.

My favorite part about Yaniv is he could lose 90% of his negative attention by simply dropping the HRT stuff and apologizing to the salon owners, but he dosent because he thinks he's a superhero for trans rights (to get their dicks waxed, which sounds incredibly unpleasant)

They’re are completely grandstanding but the optics are just terrible for the BCHRT. This is a big deal with it being an election year too.

The BCHRT could release a statement about cases in general and how they operate. They just won’t when it’s the Rebel Media.

I want to mention it again just because it's important to note, I'm not saying a topless pool party is in any way defensible but not for profit organizations do not choose their age range. If it it is a youth organization, they will have to provide service to anyone in the "youth" category which is up to 24 yrs of age in order to be eligible for grants. After that they would need to look for adult services. If Yaniv was successful in removing the upper age range, the original organization would not have been able to be involved.

However, Yaniv really screwed the pooch for them because they have to justify their existence every year. It's not a guarantee that they will receive grants each year. The visibility of this pool party may hurt them when they go to apply for next year's funding.

Additionally it's not illegal for female (or female-bodied) people to be topless in Canada, but it is weird to me that JY specifically had to go out of his way to mention it. It would be like if he advertised "Pool party at the pool! We have public bathrooms! Feel free to use our facilities to take a shit!"

There’s a new Rebel Media video.

Not no more there ain't:

In many parts of the world, women breastfeeding in public or going topless at the beach is perfectly normal. As soon as people like Yaniv come onto the scene and start perving on women's bodies, then it becomes a problem.

It's bizarre that something as basic as the difference between men and women is being erased from society by a bunch of useless activists and their media enablers who've all decided to rewrite it and purge anyone who is 'bothered' or even notices that the change has happened.

The problem is that these turds are so vocal.

Years ago I had a girlfriend who enjoyed nude beaches so she could tan topless, so we'd occasionally go down and find ourselves a secluded spot. Over the years people had built up nice piles of driftwood shaped like horseshoes so you could have some privacy; there was enough room to lay a couple towels down inside and read a book. We had to stop going because all the old gay cruisers would envade our little space and try to start up conversations while swinging their leather skinned, STD riddled cocks in our faces. They seemed to be interested in me rather than my old lady which made me super uncomfortable and angry. It quickly got to the point where we couldn't enjoy ourselves since I'd be constantly telling dirty old homos to fuck off.

I'll never again visit a nude beach. I think the premise is acceptable when people accept boundaries, but it's completely ruined by perverted fucks. Some European beaches that I've been to are better in this context, but in North America there's basically no venue for public nudity that isn't sexualized by deviants. Nudism is now a huge red flag for me.

For the benefit of folks who don't have the stamina to read thousands of messages on the topic, here's basically what's happened, as I understand it:
  1. LGBTQetc. activists organized an All-Bodies Swim at a public pool in the City of Langley scheduled for July 2019, for youths aged 12-24. This event has been going on for years, and appears to be a seriously misguided yet fundamentally well-intentioned attempt to promote tolerance and awareness and what-have-you. Jonathan Yaniv has absolutely no association with this event up to this point, as far as I can tell.
  2. In Canada (or perhaps just British Columbia, I'm not sure and can't be arsed to double-check), localities cannot require women to cover their breasts in public. Therefore, the All-Bodies Swim is under the law a tops-optional event.
  3. Nevertheless, the temporal and geographical proximity of this event to Yaniv's fuckery caused conservative social media to pick it up, and the resulting outcry prompted the organizers to cancel the event.
  4. Yaniv, being Yaniv, decides this is yet another hill to die on, and announces that he would be getting the event restarted, but without the upper age limit (i.e., in a way that would allow the 30-something Yaniv to creep on teenage girls in the locker room, which would not have been allowed at the event as originally planned).
  5. Everyone goes apeshit, because fuck this pedo piece of shit.
  6. The original organizers of the event, being relatively normal human beings, want nothing to do with Yaniv and disavow his involvement.
  7. Yaniv presents his proposal at a council meeting of the Township of Langley, which is legally distinct from the City of Langley for reasons that are far too boring to go into here. The township council, wise souls all, vote to punt any consideration of the question into September, at which point summer is basically over in the Pacific Northwest and therefore nothing will happen from a practical perspective until next spring at the very least.
Please supplement with any important details I've forgotten or otherwise omitted.

Yaniv himself has disavowed the event, so unlikely he will be doing a delegation next month before TOL on it.

Yaniv made it a point to explicitly add the topless part to his Langley Township proposal. The original event mentioned nothing about that.

Even in France toplessness is on the decline. Same in Australia, I don't think anybody does it there anymore.

Rock spiders and fat dirty wannabe swingers have given public nudity a bad name.
