Even at only 25k residents, they will have a legal budget and likely house council. So he will be up against real lawyers with time, money, and resources
Township has like a 140k population. He's going to get fucked by real lawyers. It's a bit of a paradox but city of langley is the one with 25k residents (but lots of commercial & industrial)

Question - do you think suing the 911 system is going to accelerate them deciding to charge him for making false police reports?

Oooh I'm so excited for today's updates. Its going to be a couple months but he's really fucked himself over today.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

I'm so looking forward to the tears, tiaras and tantrums.

It always fills me with rage remembering that there are people in the world have to go without life saving diabetes medication while the Canadian public health system pays for his probably high doses of insulin from all the chocolate cake and cheap wine he scarfs down.
Calm your rage a little because it might not be as bad as you think my friend

Insulin is for treating type 1 diabetes, it lowers the blood sugar for people who can't produce enough natural insulin from their pancreas.

Yaniv here is likely type 2 diabetic cause he's fat. If he was type 1 he would need to have regular insulin, but type 2 you take tablets of stuff like Metformin. Unless he's mentioned it before that is, but I don't remember him saying he was type 1 so I'm gonna assume he is meaning type 2 as he didn't specify in the complaint "I'm type 1 diabetic and need regular insulin" which is a very valid complaint. Type 2 is a lot more slow acting, it's more that your blood sugars creep up and up over time causing milder symptoms until it starts doing damage to your body instead of the episodes of type one where you end up in the emergency room cause your body can't produce insulin at all and your sugars are super fucking high.

Basically Yaniv was crying about his diabetes for pity points and whilst it's unpleasant feeling that your sugars are low, it takes a while to actually pass out into a hypoglycemic coma so he was probably fine.

If he is type 1 diabetic he should have said so when arrested as most people are on regular scheduled insulin injections or use a timed infusion pump. Missing insulin injections will not leave you in a hypo state, quite the opposite actually. What he was saying didn't make a lot of sense- he needs his medication because he's diabetic and missing it was dangerous but he also hadn't eaten and so his sugars were low. We have a blood sugar paradox here. If you eat a lot of sugar with diabetes and don't take your medication your blood sugar skyrockets, but yaniv was complaining about his sugars being low because he hadn't eaten (legit symptom) whilst also saying he needed his medication desperately (which would lower his blood sugar if he took it). So either he was asking for his medication in an attempt to induce a hypo state that would require more attention (aka I need sugar rn cause I've fainted) or he didn't need it and it was just a lie for attention.

The Law Society of BC directory says he's a 7-month call at an upper-middling criminal-law firm in downtown Vancouver (though the directory isn't always updated). Not much of a CV. If he's struck out on his own after such a short period practising, that would be a further indication he's... well, I'm not going to disparage "my friend" (fyi never met him much less befriended him; it's a matter of professional courtesy in BC).
Lord knows we need a maple syrup-flavored version of Kevin Landau or Hy Mayerson.

Shame really as we could have had a repeat of him daintily flaking out.

I find it ironic that someone who took great pleasure in Donald's 39 day incarceration went stir crazy himself within a couple of hours of being banged up. Disappointed there's no complaint of a missing Rita Hayworth poster.

I was thinking this same thing. What a colossal fucking idiot. The city lawyers are going to dig up records of every call he's made to 911 and non-emergency lines to show how crazy he is. This is going to bring attention not only to the dispatchers time that's been wasted, but all the RCMP and BCAS crews that have been dispatched for him (often for no good reason). I bet there will also be some discussion of his weaponizing the legal system and wasting court resources with frivolous bullshit. Dear god I hope I'm not being optimistic here.

This was a terrific move on Jonathan's part.... he's just shoveled a whole pile of coal into the boiler and his freakshow is starting to get a good head of steam moving into the fall.

Anti-bullying BC is still retweeting stuff about tampons.

There is no way that “ashu” is female. “It went all the way up” ...to where? Does he think a vagina is connected to the throat or something? This definitely didn’t happen. I also highly doubt it’s common for a woman to rub one out during a period.

Also, who decides to go to an emergency room TOMORROW; is it an emergency or fucking not?

Nobody in the LGBTQ community cares about you buddy.

Quite so and jolly good it is too. We were going through a bit of a JY dry-spell there for awhile which had some of us experiencing withdrawls, but like the true lolcow he is JY has come storming back with a vengence. I'm heading out to buy more popcorn.

This is the person who complains about immigrants not knowing English btw.

Pressing X on hypoglycemic claim. And it's not anyone else's fault he didn't eat so he can't really be worried about it himself.
Doubt it.
Even he has to know they're parked in the parking garage. :story:

Does Canada have anything along the lines of vexatious litigant in their laws?
Yes. Their sovereign citizens like Dean Clifford get hit with it.

This is wonderful. Yaniv is now pissing off 911 employees, cops and the township itself. Yaniv was vexatious before but only against private citizens and small businesses. The court will have no choice but to declare him vexatious. Wondering what that means in BC, I found this article that gives us a good idea. Essentially a vexatious litigant has all claims or applications reviewed before they can be filed.

Does TOL have to file a response to this?
I'd like to see a list of how many times he's tagged Langley RCMP in tweets?
How many times he's called to make reports or request services?
I doubt he even knows....But TOL does, as they would have records.
I don't think 150 calls in the past year would be an unreasonable guess.
3 a week avg.
& he's butthurt they said they would charge him with mischief????????

He claims that they now can recognize his voice and know to leave him on hold or pass him around. I have no reason to doubt such claims. But try and imagine how many times he has to call into 911 and the police and detectives office lines to be recognized by voice?
