Fuck. Dragging a poor blameless puppy into this mix is one of the more despicable things Yaniv has done so far. Best case scenario, the dog is going to wind up in a shelter with abandonment issues and behavioral problems because the fat fuck never trained it.

I can't tell you how much I hate it when people who shouldn't have animals get one and hurt it. Makes me legitimately sick to my stomach.

He just dropped his case against his strata....that's 2 for 2 now
The page says it is unlikely either strata will try to go for cost.
That is a mistake imho.
Going for cost may be the only thing that will tell him to "stop lolsuits against your strata".
Going for cost, failure to collect, placing a lien on the unit and a forced sale, may be the only way they have to get rid of them permanently. Every single person that lives in that complex do want to get rid of them, right?

Woo bloody hoo. He must be stinging right now...another $35K+ not going into his bank account :lit:.

So the other tenants are indirectly going to foot the bill for the lawyer's time?

It sets precedence that when challenged he'll run.
ToL is the next to get tossed

But where is the deterrent to stop him from filing nonsense cases?

He was challenged in BCHRT and wasn't allowed to run, the $6000 certainly slowed down his shitty scamming...didn't stop him from filing I'll grant you but hit him where it hurt the most. If enough folks go for costs every single time perhaps jon boy would look elsewhere to fill his pockets.

The Strata's may not actually have to go to the court for costs. I've been thinking on it a bit. It would be curious to know exactly what the Strata rules and covenants are. HOA's can enact direct assesments against a single property for costs they are forced to expend in dealing with the specific individual property. If your HOA has to send contractors in to clean up your mess, you're getting that bill. The Strata's were forced to expend funds on lawyers because the plaintiffs did not seek to resolve a grievance in the manner proscribed by their covenants and the law. They might be able to simply assess the legal fees against the Yaniv's. If they don't like it they can always sue after all.

I think he already is with the "service dog" scam. I expect he'll go after businesses that won't allow an untrained dog. Way too many munchies do it.
Point being if he was made to pay costs every single time he loses he would have to look elsewhere for his easy $$$ ie outside of the court system.

Jeez, even if he was made to pay filing/service fees every time he files would be a step in the right direction, little acorns.

Considering he has been known for suspected animal abuse in the past makes me wonder what type of breeder would give him an animal

As of today, it is a short 21 days until the JJYS criminal assault trial. It is at that point that I suspect we will learn his game plan regarding the poor puppy.

If his end game for the puppy as a means of getting out of the trial, or as a means of recieving a lighter sentence does not work, I expect the puppy to be cast aside like an empty bottle of YanivLube.

I don't think Yaniv actually thinks that far ahead. He operates on extremely short term wants. He clearly chopped his dick off without much thought or planning. The dog is just part of this weeks oppressed identity.

I hadn't thought of the possibility that Yaniv bought the puppy (a "service dog") to look more sympathetic in front of a court. He clearly has a lawyer unscrupulous enough to work with him on all of his lawsuits. I wonder if Johnathan's lawyer had suggested to Johnathan that it would probably help his case if he came in looking super disabled with a service dog.

Of course Johnathan doesn't really need or deserve one so no one was willing to provide him with a real service dog. So he gets a puppy.

This leads to all sorts of new lawsuit (or settlement) potential for his unscrupulous lawyer. But of course this puppy is way too untrained to be in an actual court setting. And Johnathan knows the pressure is on to actually have a well behaved dog for court, but is too incompetent to even do basic dog training and is feeling pressure to get the puppy to behave in time for court.

I wonder if they will end up renting or "borrowing" a real service dog... or even a basic calm dog just for the duration of the court trial to look more sympathetic.
