I like how Jon’s solution to not knowing how to end videos is for them to just stop at some point. In any other media, this would be a mark of poor quality.

I like jon and was a big fan of his old content, but the only video I've like of his in the past few years was Gamer Compounds

I still think his new videos are as good as his old. Even though he abandoned the video game reviewing trope long ago, it's his humor that hasn't changed.

I think it's better he abandoned the video games for this kind of stuff. You could tell between the food games and the star wars games that he was kinda phoning them in and not really giving it that Jon effort he's known for. I think the Bootleg episode was the last video game related thing that was entertaining.

And since then, he did two movie reviews (Christmas with the Kranks and the Dungeons & Dragons propaganda film), the first he's done so since his Lost World Jurassic Park review. However, he's moved on to riffing on everything else such as Flex Tape, although the closest to a game review as the Soulja Boy console, yet since these videos, he's managed to have more creative control rather than doing the usual video game reviewing shtick.

I mean, as far as strictly videogame material, the bootleg episode can't be topped. It's right there with Hercules games and Clock Tower imo.

I wish he’d do more movie/show reviews, but his style of humor can make most topics hilarious.
I'd say the last actual movie review he made was Cool as Ice, and even then he had way more creative control (and he also does some TV show reviews here or there). I'd say he's still hilarious even without reviewing games or shows.
